Polaris Global Heading Down Under

Shane Krider

Shane Krider

I’m beside myself excited! Shane, little Leia and me are heading to Australia this coming Sunday for our up and coming Super Saturday and Foundation Live event, hosted by Polaris Global. It will be 12 months since I’ve been home, so I’m really jumping out of my skin.
It will be so great to catch up with my family & friends and have them meet Leia for the first time. Equally excited about catching up with my Polaris family!

This event has been many months in the planning and we’ve got some incredible speakers lined up. There are 4 key note speakers who will be delivering a powerful message at the Foundation live on the Sunday. It’s difficult to put into words what takes place at an event such as this. It truly is a magical experience. If you attempted to explain to someone what a rose smells like, you’d find it difficult no doubt. Much easier to have the person smell the rose themselves.
The Polaris Global events are much the same. One has to experience it themselves to really appreciate the experience. It’s so much more than just the speakers on the stage delivering their message. Something quite special happens when a committed group of like minded, successful people come together. The energy that is created is like nothing I have experienced anywhere else. Can’t wait to get my fix!
Each time I attend one of our events I come away from the experience more aware, more powerful and with a greater understanding of exactly how to continue creating a life filled with love and prosperity.
I can’t wait to see you there. Big hugs x
If you’ve attended a Polaris Global Event in the past – would love to hear about your experience here….
Or if you’re coming along for the first time, please share what you hope to get out of the event.

Baby Talk At Polaris Global

Leia Anniston

Leia Anniston

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a blog. Have been flat our adjusting to my new responsibilities as a mum and also continuing with my role as co-owner of Polaris Global.

My baby girl, Leia Anniston, was born on April 16. Can’t believe how quickly the past 3 months have flown. I can hear her now in the background. She’s started talking which is amazing to me. Now I can’t understand a word she saying. It’s “baby talk” – but she’s certainly communicating in her special way and has graduated from just crying to get want she wants.

She’s allowed me today to gain a new perspective about how to deal with certain challenges that crop up from time to time which I’d like to share with my fellow Polaris Associates & readers.

When she wants something, typically food or a cuddle, she will let you know straight up by crying. We all have this knowledge, that the baby confronts head on what they want – whether it be food, a diaper change, a cuddle. They don’t hold back, they communicate directly how to solve whatever they may require at the time.

As adults – we can all learn this lesson from our kids. That if we have a particular challenge that we are facing, the best way to deal with it, every time, is by confronting it head on.
Now I know for myself there are many times when this path hasn’t been clear. The “natural” response for some reason when we get older is to perhaps back away or shy away from the issue that is causing us discomfort or pain. Of course what happens as a result of this is the problem tends to grow – it certainly doesn’t go away by our lack of confront or our lack of acknowledgment.

So if you’re facing a particular obstacle right now. Ask yourself, what is the solution. What can be achieved if I just tackle this head on? You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how resilient and capable you are of handling even the most challenging of obstacles.

Have there been times in your life when you put off confronting a particular challenge and then when you finally did, you wondered what took you so long?

Is Polaris Global A Scam?

Every day I receive emails from Polaris Global customers and distributors about the new and exciting results they are creating in their life. It’s always so wonderful to hear how our products are having such a wonderful effective on shaping peoples lives for the better, but every now and again one comes through from a disgruntled person.

I received one such message today. I’m not sure who the person is, as upon asking them to share with me their name so that I may be able to resolve their concerns they didn’t want to reveal who they were. Mmmm…well that gives me a lot to work with.

They simply stated that they were scammed out of alot of money, the business did not work for them and that I should be ashamed with myself for earning so much money.

I’m amazed when people say to me that they started a business and “it didn’t work for them”. You know last time I checked, a business isn’t designed to work. The owner of the business must “work within” the business in order for the business to become successful.

Imagine going to the hardware store and buying a hammer, some nails and the shell of a shed. A month later you go back to the hardware store and say to the clerk…”the hammer and nails didn’t work! My shed never got built”. The clerk would look at you like you were crazy. And guess what, the clerk would have good reason to think of you as a crazy person.

What is the difference between one person creating success within a business such as Polaris Global and another not creating a result? The one who gets the result worked within the business for a long enough period of time, the one who didn’t get the result, did not. Simple as that.

When I first started with Polaris I started out as a distributor. I was afforded the exact same opportunity as the person who sent me this message that they were scammed. I purchased the same product they would have purchased. I listened to the same training calls. I had available to me the same compensation plan, the same advertising guidelines. Yet I created unbelievable results and clearly they did not. What was the difference? Perhaps I got up a little earlier than they. Perhaps I went through the product a few more times than they. Perhaps I applied myself a little more than they. One thing I know for certain, I took more responsibility than they were prepared to take.

I ran another business prior to starting here at Polaris within the network marketing industry. I ran that business for over 4 years and while I achieved a certain level of success, it was never to the level that I desired. When I left that company the last thing I did was blame “the business” for my lack of results. The last thing I did was blame the person who introduced me to the business. I didn’t blame the owner of the company for my lack of results. How could I? It was working for so many other people. That business didn’t work for me, because I didn’t work the business the way it was designed to be worked for a long enough period of time. I too would be a crazy person if I were to blame “the business” for not working for me.

The reason that I’ve gone on and created incredible results this time round was because I was prepared to take personal responsibility for my results. The good, the bad and the ugly.

Have you ever dealt with somebody who was just convinced that you wronged them in same way?

What’s The Secret To Living A Good Life?

Keep's The Doctor Away

Keep's The Doctor Away

By Rachel Oliver, Polaris Global

I was down the street today with Shane (Shane Krider, CEO Polaris Global) and we bumped into the most delightful old lady. Throughout our conversation we discovered that she was 90 years old. I tell ya, I nearly feel off the couch I was perched on when I learned how old she was. She didn’t look a day over 70. Sharp as a whip, able to get around with the grace of a fit 50 year old, playing golf every day. Just remarkable.

It got me thinking about the choices one can make throughout their life in order to live a “good healthy life”. Now I’ve done my far share of partying and living “the good life”, but to continue living “the good life” for too long would certainly take a toll on ones quality of life down the track. (It’s important to note that “the good life” is not in essence living “a good life”).

There would be some basic fundamentals that one can choose to do in order to set themselves up to live a long healthy life. The obvious things that come to mind to me would be a healthy balanced diet & daily exercise. Even if you can only fit in a quick 15 minute walk, it would be better than doing nothing at all. Soon that 15 minute walk would turn into an hour at the gym.

“An apple a day keeps the doctor away” – we’ve all heard this. What if it were actually true? Do you eat your apple every day?

What do you feel are the most significant things which contribute to a person living a long healthy life?

How Long Will It Take Me To Make Money At Polaris Global?

Napoleon Hill

Napoleon Hill

Thoughts from Rachel Oliver & Shane Krider, Polaris Global

This is the question that I asked of my enroller (the person who introduced me to the business) when I first got started here. How long will it take me to make money with Polaris Global?
His answer…..”as long as you think it will”.

Okay, got it. As long as I think it will. If I really believe that it’s possible to make $20,000 my first month in business, then this is exactly what I have the opportunity to create. If I doubt that this is possible, well, we all know what the result will be. The result will reflect what I innately believe to be possible.

Most of us would be familiar with Napoleon Hills statement of “whatever the mind can conceive and believe, one can achieve”. I believe in this statement to the core. I believe that as human beings we have the unique opportunity to create an experience we wish to create. I also believe that most of us sell ourselves short. Most of us are victims to our own limited thinking – myself included.

Let us have a look at Napoleon’s statement again – “WHATEVER the mind can conceive and believe, one can achieve.” That being said – we have the ability to create WHATEVER we choose.

If this is true, as I know it to be, why do we find ourselves settling for less?

When A Plan Comes Together

A message from Shane Krider & Rachel Oliver, Polaris Global

Paul & Alison Wheeler have been Polaris Global distributors for a little over 12 months. I was chatting with them yesterday and they shared with me that in the last 4 weeks they have profited $24,407.69 from their Polaris Global business.  It didn’t surprise me to learn how much they had made for the month. Paul & Alison are among the many rising star distributors at Polaris.

But was this always the case? Is it luck that has created such success? Is it chance?

I was on a call listening to Alison the other week and she mentioned that when they first started their journey here they didn’t have a clue how to market. How to generate leads did not come naturally to them. They’d implement an action plan and experience mediocre results. BUT, Paul and Alison had RESOLVE. They took responsibility to “figure it out”. Put one foot in front of the other, applied consistent effort and BECAME top marketers.

I’ve been a marketer for coming up to a decade now. I’ve coached many people over the years and it’s a very rare occurance where someone gets started in their own business and is a master marketer from day 1. I’d say 99% of the time a person has to go through the learning curve just like Alison and Paul have been prepared to do. Success is not an accident – Success is a choice.

What do you choose?

The Power Of Forgiveness

'Aint that the thruth!

'Aint that the thruth!

By Rachel Oliver & Shane Krider, Polaris Global

“Always forgive your enemies – nothing annoys them so much” Oscar Wilde

When I came across this quote today it really gave me a chuckle. It also got me thinking about the importance of forgiveness. All of us at some point have been hurt by the actions or words of another. You may have discovered a friend gossiping behind your back or your mother perhaps made damning remarks on your parenting skills or someone may even go so far as making up untruths about you to hurt you. The actions of another can leave you with feelings of anger, resentment and even vengeance. But here’s the thing, if you don’t practice forgiveness, you may be the one who pays the price in the long run. Those feelings of anger and resentment are harming you more than anyone.

I have experienced someone close to me speaking untruths behind my back. This person  shared some very personal events that had occurred in my life. They twisted the events and added their own spin on what had actually happened.  At first I was angry. Then I was hurt. Then I wanted revenge. Then I was angry again. A few hours later I came out the other side feeling compassion and empathy for the person that had attacked me. This doesn’t mean that I am denying that this person hurt me or that I’m taking away the responsibility that must lay with this person – it simply means that I choose to forgive. And ya know what….as soon as I shifted to forgiveness I instantly felt a whole lot better! I instantly felt lighter, happier and more at peace with myself.

Is there someone in your life who you should forgive?

Be The Demonstration Of Success

Thoughts from Shane Krider & Rachel Oliver, Polaris Global

There’s no greater service that one can provide than to be the demonstration as to what is possible. As human beings we gain confidence in our own ability to perform when we see others achieving what it is that we ourselves have the desire to achieve.

“Well if he can do it, whose to say I can’t too!”

The evidence of another persons success gives us wings. We’ve all heard what happened when Roger Bannister became the first man to run a mile in less than 4 minutes. The very next month the record was broken. Many men then went on to achieve what once was believed to be impossible.

I feel tremendously blessed to be surrounded by on purpose individuals. The distributors which are a part of my company, Polaris Global, demonstrate to me every day of what is possible. Belinda Byfield comes to mind. She’s a mum of three young kids & when she started her journey here as an entrepreneur only 12 months ago she couldn’t even send an email. Her confidence in her ability was so low that she couldn’t take a step out her front door without her mum being there as a crutch.

Fast forward just 12 months and Belinda is an incredibly competent and powerful business owner. She’s mastered Social Media marketing. She’s confident, capable & self reliant. She’s growing and developing a successful global business, leading her organization with grace and dignity. She’s earned as much as $20,000 USD in a single month. Talk about a demonstration as to what is possible. Good on ya Bel – keep shining!

Leads On Demand With Social Media Marketing

It amazes me how creative people can be. The Advanced BuzzZing Social Media Marketers in my company recently underwent the task of creating short marketing video’s to upload on Youtube. It’s important to note that most of them had never created a video before yet they undertook the project with gusto! (is that a word? Yeah, I’m pretty sure)

Peter from Townsville created the below video. It’s really, really great! He used the ANIMOTO program to create it. And this from a guy who tells me his tech knowledge is very limited. Go Pete!

Youtube is a terrific platform in which to generate inquiry for your business. Within 1 Day of this video being up, Peter generated 5 leads. Not bad going for such a short time on the air. People love watching video’s! Did you know that 200 Million Video’s are watched on YouTube every single day. Whoza! That’s a remarkable number!

Here’s a few tips when creating your video.
1. Keep it short and sweet. Around 1-3 minutes is best.
2. Keep it light! Not too serious!
3. Make sure you add your website throughout the video so your viewers can inquire with you.
4. Add the appropriate “tags” or key words that you’d like to be found under.

I’d love to see your creative work. Send me through any video’s that you’ve created recently.
