Success is an INSIDE JOB here at Polaris Global

Posted by Yolanda V

I just got off the weekly team call where Rachel interviewed Adam B after he had earned $115000 AUD in a 30 day period.  Firstly I wish to extend my deep appreciation to Adam for sharing so authentically and secondly I wish to congratulate him on his awesome results and just going from strength to strength.228

I would love to share some of the lessons I took from this call – there were so many nuggets of wisdom but the ones that really stand out to me are:

BELIEF!!  – You deserve to have belief in yourself and the system. It is a really simple system but it WORKS (if you do obviously).  Believe in yourself every moment of every day.

If you lack the belief – borrow from someone else – To me this was a great and timely reminder. Even if you are going through times where you don’t see the evidence of what you want to create – get clearer on your vision and your picture. Visualise you achieving the goal and let that be the only evidence you need to fuel your belief.  Don’t let any stinking thinking blemish or blur your picture.  Do more Beyond Freedom Evolution to get rid of that “stinkin thinkin”.

Be, Do, Have – Be the Leader you aspire to be.  If you don’t believe in what you are saying, nobody else will.  Lee Anne always say to me: “It is not WHAT you are saying, it is HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE SAYING”.  For the longest time I did not know how to change how I feel about what I am saying to people until I learned that lesson about getting very clear on my picture of what I want to create and keep that picture in my head and heart when I go through life.. It is amazing how that has changed my vibration and energy.

There is NO PLAN B – An awesome reminder Adam gave towards the end of the call is something that Shane often says – “There is no plan B”.  Decide what you want to create. Cut off all other possibilities and go all in. There is no safety net… There is only one option and that is the one YOU CHOSE!!

I am feeling super inspired to go forth and create massive results in my life and my business. I have also always felt like I did not fit in and did not belong.  I really did not like to corporate life and office politics. I did not like the back stabbing mentality that people had and the feeling that they had to pull others down to lift themselves up.  What I LOVE about this community is that we all support and encourage each other to succeed. We celebrate each other’s wins and are happy for each and every success story. No matter how small the win – a win is a win and we celebrate together.

I am feeling tremendously blessed to be a part of this amazing free harbour community where I too can just be myself and I have the space to make mistakes, learn, grow and become the person I am becoming.  I feel loved and appreciated in this community and love each one of these amazing people.

What did you get out of today’s Global Team Call?

What lessons have you learnt about creating success?

Foundations for High Productivity

Healthy Body Healthy Mind

Healthy Body Healthy Mind

I feel inspired today to share a fundamental truth about how one sustains themselves for long periods of productivity. For one to create extraordinary results in their life they must have some fundamentals in place in order to sustain their energy levels at a high enough level and for extended periods of time.

Of course what we feed out body, plays an enormous role in the level of energy we have. Shane and I follow a particular formula (most of the time) to give ourselves the best possible platform to be able to produce at a high level. When one is tired, whether it be through lack of sleep or not eating consistent healthy meals, this of course has an impact on ones ability to make accurate, quick decisions. And the ability to then follow through with those decisions with the appropriate action is also impeded if you don’t have the fundamentals in place.

Our formula to set the body up for success is 6 healthy meals a day, plenty of water (8 glasses plus per day) and a good nights sleep. We enjoy controlled portions for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as 3 smaller snacks throughout the day.
It looks something like this….

8:00am -breakfast – usually eggs and turkey bacon with some wholewheat toast or maybe some oatmeal.
10:30 – snack – cottage cheese with some fruit or maybe some yogurt and fruit
1:00pm – lunch – quite often it’s left overs from the night before. a combination of protein and carbs
3:30pm – snack – fruit with cheese, maybe some crackers with turkey and tomato
6:30pm – Dinner – Always protein, chicken, steak or turkey with some balanced carb either salad or vege’s
9:00pm – snack – usually Shane’s favourite which is cottage cheese with fried banana’s and maple syrup. It’s healthy and delicious!

It takes a little bit of organisation to eat so often, but like anything in life, with a little bit of planning and follow through the habit is formed and it becomes a way of life. The results far exceed the little bit of effort and planning involved.

Try it for 30 days and Know For Yourself!

Sharing Your Vision For The Future

We had another fabulous Beyond Freedom Evolution Call at Polaris Global today. Belinda Byfield joined me as co-host for the call. Thanks Bel :o) You are such a true demonstration of someone really taking on board the principles of our Beyond Freedom Evolution. So proud of you. To go from someone who couldn’t even send an email when you first got started here, to someone who is now leading a team of people right throughout the world with Polaris is a true testament to the growth that has taken place within you. It’s so much fun for me to work along side you and to see just how far you’ve come.

But back to the call we had today…we spoke about one of the new DVD’s contained in the Action Program. Belinda took 20 pages of notes just after watching the DVD! Such a demonstration of someone being the student of self improvement. Thanks for giving me a kick up the butt Bel! I plan to look over the DVD again and take some notes this time round.

We also spoke about the power of speaking your future into reality. A great exercise to complete (from departure program) is to write out your future vision. So imagine the life that you desire to be living in say 2 years from now. Where are you living, what does your house look like, how many bedrooms, what sort of car are you driving, are you flying first class….?? Etc. So the key with this is that you write your future reality in the present tense, as if you are already there and then read it to yourself every day. You can literally speak your future into reality!

If you’re happy to share your future vision – I’d love you to post it here….. By sharing your vision with the universe you will bring it about much quicker than just keeping it to yourself.
To your success xx

Change Is Essential For Shifts To Take Place

Be The Change

Be The Change

I’ve just come off a great Polaris Global Training Call. Each week the Polaris Global community come together on a global mastermind call to speak about the various concepts within our Award Winning Curriculum, Beyond Freedom Evolution. This week, leadership member, Lisa Molina joined me on the call discussing the breakthroughs that she’d experienced after completing a particular exercise in the BFE program.

This particular exercise encourages the students to write down how they feel and react to encountering change throughout their daily experience. Getting in touch with how we respond too and feel, right when the change occurs. Do we resist? Retreat? Panic? Roll with it?
When we set a goal to experience greater levels of success in our lives. Whether it be greater levels of financial success, relationships, health or otherwise, we are going to have to make changes and be willing to adapt to a new way of “being”, a new way of embracing certain tasks, which then allows us to experience the outcome of the changes we’ve made. The old saying – “if nothing changes, nothing changes”.

I’ve always thought of myself as someone who easily adapts to change. Although after the call today it’s got me thinking about just how well I do infact adapt to change and are there areas that I require a greater level of awareness in order to respond in a more productive and effective way? Of course there are. So over the next 7 days….the challenge is on. Taking the time to journal daily and asking the effective questions with respect to change.

How does the word make you feel? Where do you feel it in your body?
Do you find change comfortable? If not, try to pinpoint why not?
What would have to shift in your thinking for you to feel like change is your friend?
Are you willing to risk change to pursue your passions and achieve your goals?
Are you able to adapt to change so that you are in alignment with your North Stars?

I’d love to hear your wins and breakthroughs as you take on this 7 day challenge with me…..

What’s The Secret To Living A Good Life?

Keep's The Doctor Away

Keep's The Doctor Away

By Rachel Oliver, Polaris Global

I was down the street today with Shane (Shane Krider, CEO Polaris Global) and we bumped into the most delightful old lady. Throughout our conversation we discovered that she was 90 years old. I tell ya, I nearly feel off the couch I was perched on when I learned how old she was. She didn’t look a day over 70. Sharp as a whip, able to get around with the grace of a fit 50 year old, playing golf every day. Just remarkable.

It got me thinking about the choices one can make throughout their life in order to live a “good healthy life”. Now I’ve done my far share of partying and living “the good life”, but to continue living “the good life” for too long would certainly take a toll on ones quality of life down the track. (It’s important to note that “the good life” is not in essence living “a good life”).

There would be some basic fundamentals that one can choose to do in order to set themselves up to live a long healthy life. The obvious things that come to mind to me would be a healthy balanced diet & daily exercise. Even if you can only fit in a quick 15 minute walk, it would be better than doing nothing at all. Soon that 15 minute walk would turn into an hour at the gym.

“An apple a day keeps the doctor away” – we’ve all heard this. What if it were actually true? Do you eat your apple every day?

What do you feel are the most significant things which contribute to a person living a long healthy life?

The Power Of Forgiveness

'Aint that the thruth!

'Aint that the thruth!

By Rachel Oliver & Shane Krider, Polaris Global

“Always forgive your enemies – nothing annoys them so much” Oscar Wilde

When I came across this quote today it really gave me a chuckle. It also got me thinking about the importance of forgiveness. All of us at some point have been hurt by the actions or words of another. You may have discovered a friend gossiping behind your back or your mother perhaps made damning remarks on your parenting skills or someone may even go so far as making up untruths about you to hurt you. The actions of another can leave you with feelings of anger, resentment and even vengeance. But here’s the thing, if you don’t practice forgiveness, you may be the one who pays the price in the long run. Those feelings of anger and resentment are harming you more than anyone.

I have experienced someone close to me speaking untruths behind my back. This person  shared some very personal events that had occurred in my life. They twisted the events and added their own spin on what had actually happened.  At first I was angry. Then I was hurt. Then I wanted revenge. Then I was angry again. A few hours later I came out the other side feeling compassion and empathy for the person that had attacked me. This doesn’t mean that I am denying that this person hurt me or that I’m taking away the responsibility that must lay with this person – it simply means that I choose to forgive. And ya know what….as soon as I shifted to forgiveness I instantly felt a whole lot better! I instantly felt lighter, happier and more at peace with myself.

Is there someone in your life who you should forgive?

Be The Demonstration Of Success

Thoughts from Shane Krider & Rachel Oliver, Polaris Global

There’s no greater service that one can provide than to be the demonstration as to what is possible. As human beings we gain confidence in our own ability to perform when we see others achieving what it is that we ourselves have the desire to achieve.

“Well if he can do it, whose to say I can’t too!”

The evidence of another persons success gives us wings. We’ve all heard what happened when Roger Bannister became the first man to run a mile in less than 4 minutes. The very next month the record was broken. Many men then went on to achieve what once was believed to be impossible.

I feel tremendously blessed to be surrounded by on purpose individuals. The distributors which are a part of my company, Polaris Global, demonstrate to me every day of what is possible. Belinda Byfield comes to mind. She’s a mum of three young kids & when she started her journey here as an entrepreneur only 12 months ago she couldn’t even send an email. Her confidence in her ability was so low that she couldn’t take a step out her front door without her mum being there as a crutch.

Fast forward just 12 months and Belinda is an incredibly competent and powerful business owner. She’s mastered Social Media marketing. She’s confident, capable & self reliant. She’s growing and developing a successful global business, leading her organization with grace and dignity. She’s earned as much as $20,000 USD in a single month. Talk about a demonstration as to what is possible. Good on ya Bel – keep shining!

The Power Of Vision

Kirsty Mailer

Kirsty Mailer

Hey Guys, I received this email from Kirsty Mailer yesterday and thought it would be powerful to share. Enjoy!

I have just re-listened to Shane’s Visionary Call from Tuesday last week (3rd August) & WOW what a call it was… (listen again now before it gets deleted tomorrow morning)!

Many many things I’ve learned from that call & a million notes that I’ve written, but the biggest thing for me is about sharing my vision…

So, here goes…

I’ve managed to get very clear on my vision. This is important. My Vision is to assist as many people as possible reach the level of success they truly desire. At first I thought my vision was to have the best performing team in the company, but it’s not, because my vision is not about ownership, it’s about contribution & making a wide spread impact. This is something we all have not only the opportunity to do here, but the ability to, because we are all on the same team.

So, firstly I’ve set out to “make an example of myself” – in a good way! As most of you will now be aware, I’ve got my electric bicycle & I’m delivering 5000 flyers in letterboxes every week. There, I’ve said it. Now watch me do it! It’s not easy, but it sure is a lot of fun! The reason I’m sharing this with you is because I’ve recently come to the realisation of what is truly possible here, and what we really CAN do. It has been done before, and it can be done again. I remember in my early days here I learned about this principle:
Success requires Action
Action requires Motivation
Motivation requires Belief
Belief requires Proof – find the proof of what you believe in so that you know it can be achieved.

If you haven’t done or redone your 90 day plan recently, I encourage you to do it. And then stick to it. Call another Leader within the Company to walk you through it if you need to or share it with someone else if you want someone to hold you accountable.

Secondly I am Playing To Win! This is not a competition, it’s just my game. You make your game whatever you want it to be. Figure out what motivates you. What ingredients do you need to bake the perfect cake of your dream lifestyle…? Put it all together & just watch what happens when you put that cake in to bake… You can’t miss out 1 ingredient or put in the wrong measurements & expect the cake to turn out. I love Rachel’s Blog on the Corporate Blog page about this topic – she talks about letting herself off the hook a little bit in her early days – not doing absolutely everything she could to have success so that she had an excuse as to why she didn’t succeed. I’ve fallen into that trap in the past too. If you’re looking for excuses why not to succeed you might as well quit & stop wasting your own time. Make a Decision as to whether you want success or not, then go out & get it!

Thirdly, I am being ME. Yep, I’m a Mum, I’m a Wife & I’m a Business Woman. We all play many roles throughout the day & I’m doing the best I possibly can at each one. One at a Time. The best way I’ve found that I can do this is by just being Me. Doing things the way that MY Future Self would do them. Because I am my Future Self from many years ago, I am being a lot like the person I thought I would be, I am doing some of those things that I intended to do & I do have a lot of the things I thought I would, but there’s still a lot more ahead of me, along the way I’m still me. Get to know yourself & then just be yourself.

So, back to my Vision… To assist as many people as possible reach the level of success they truly desire.

What Level of Success are you aiming for? What are you doing to achieve it? Are you putting yourself in the best possible position to play your game to WIN?! Are you doing everything possible to achieve that goal?

Some famous words from Shane:

“It’s up to you, you’re going to be the one that decides what is supposed to be, you’re going to be the one makes that come true…”

On that note, I’m off to deliver flyers… 😉
