Treating Every Day like New Years

Posted by Brianna B

Today I had a flash back of 2012 Super Saturday. This was my first event. I was 21 years old and a nerves wreck thinking “what am I even doing here”.  I entered the room to meet the most amazing people I think I will ever meet. Some people in the company call this the “head to heart” moment we experience at our first event. For a long time I kept thinking I haven’t had that moment, I’ve gone to 5 events now and loved all of them, however because I didn’t have the financial success I had come here for just yet I couldn’t see myself having that moment. When was my moment?!

Kirsty M was our MC for Super Saturday. She ended the day with a great line that has stuck with me for the past 2 years ‘You don’t have to wait for a new year, a new month or even Monday to start working towards your goals, treat today like it’s New Years, decide on your new year’s resolution and start taking the steps to achieve those goals’.

Today it hit me, I realized I did have that moment; the second Alison (my enroller) welcomed me and gave me a hug, Polaris went from my head to my heart. I now know that by not recognizing our ‘aha’ moments in this business we could potentially be blocking ourselves to more success. SO, I thought about this some more and had an even deeper realization that I get to have this “head to heart” moment every day I choose Polaris, because I know in my heart this is the place for me.

I am so grateful for the opportunities here, and even more grateful for the amazing community who make this a ‘head to heart’ kinda business.

Exciting New Training with Polaris Global

Posted by Brianna B

Holly smokes! I am so excited and pumped up after today’s Global Team Call, training on YouTube marketing. I remember dabbling a little in YouTube videos a year or so ago, I found it to be very time consuming and not seeing any results other than maybe 30-40 views per video. Don’t get me wrong, I actually loved making the videos and talking about the topics, I just had no clue how to market it!

I am totally blown away by the training we are receiving here, seriously WHO ELSE trains like this? No one! (that I’ve found anyway) so clear and so concise with simple step by step tasks. With the key distinctions we are learning already I can see the massive potential for this company to expand like CRAZY through limitless topics. I’m so excited to meet the people who will be attracted to this amazing business because of the training we learn today.

I’m already writing my 30 keywords and starting my research, it’s so limitless!! I love the doors our training opens and I love the way Rachel & Shane present it.

Thank you guys for re-opening my mind to a method of marketing at first I was excited and then disappointment, now with your key distinctions I’m excited and equip with a much stronger vision for where I can take it.

Who else is with me on the YouTube band wagon?!

Focusing on our Polaris Global dreams

Posted by Phil P

If you’re like me, you have often started on something new with great positive energy and made great progress in the beginning. Then, after only just a few short days, our enthusiasm begins to wane.

In all great pursuits, there will be some resistance

In all great pursuits, there will be some resistance

Why do we do that?  It all starts when we lose our focus on what we originally wanted! Life gets in the way and we are forced to attend to other things that have absolutely nothing to do with our new project. It seems by the time we get back to our original project, the enthusiasm we once had for it has lost its freshness.

This is what goes wrong for me; I lose control over my thoughts when the urgent things in life have to be dealt with. At that point I stop creating the things I wanted in my life long term by changing my focus to the urgent things that are currently going on.

Here’s the bottom line: Focus requires discipline. We must remain in control of our thoughts and actions at all times in order to make the most of our life.

So, the next time I start on a new part of my business with great positive energy, I know it won’t be long before something urgent will try to steal my focus. But I am going to be ready for it next time, and when that urgent circumstance is over, I will seek the discipline to get my focus back to where it should be – to achieving my dreams of living a fulfilled and successful life through my Polaris Global business.

Name all the things you love

Posted by Bart

2I recently read a tweet that asked me to name all the things I love. I’m posing that question to you. You may list your family, your children, your pet(s), and for many of us our work. For me, cheesecake and frozen yogurt would also be on that list!

This list can be exhaustive and take some time to complete. Soon our love expresses what we are grateful for. Gratitude is a very powerful emotion. Gratitude is defined as the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. Cannot that also be applied to love and the things we love?

The original tweet was “If I asked you to name all the things you love, how long before you name yourself? Don’t forget to save some love for YOU! #YouDeserveIt

So, were you on your list and how close to the top of that list were you? Until you love yourself others are not receiving the love they deserve.

I want to thank my friend Billy P for the tweet. It certainly made me think and inspired me to share this blog with you.

How Yoga is changing my Life and my Polaris Business

Posted by Carrie M

I’ve often heard Shane Krider and Rachel Krider talk about their yoga practice on our Polaris Global Daily Training Calls. I remember Shane saying ‘yoga is life-changing’. carrie and john yoga

I’ve enjoyed a little bit of yoga in the past, so I put it out to the Universe that I’d love to find a cool yoga studio locally and enjoy it regularly.

Not long after this….ta-da! An amazing yoga studio in the next suburb arrives. Yoga is changing my life and my business in so many ways…all in a couple of weeks already! Here’s why…

  • Positive like-minded people – I love our daily training calls and being able to ‘virtually’ connect with such awesome people every day. I wanted this in a physical space too.
  • Counting my wins – I get so much enjoyment from counting my yoga wins. I love amazing myself when I move a certain way or can do half of crow pose first time!
  • Visualisation – During some of my yin yoga poses (holding a position for a few minutes to get a deep and juicy stretch), I visualise what my day will be like and what I’d love to happen.
  • Meditation – Yoga has been relaxing my mind, body and spirit and I am finding that my meditations are so much deeper and I am more present.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit – The awesome owners of the yoga studio are entrepreneurs and I love being surrounded by this.
  • Gratitude – I now have so much love and gratitude for my body and what it is able to do.
  • Focus – I’m allowing my mind to be focused and concentrate on one thing at a time and to be fully present.
  • Connection – My partner and I now enjoy yoga together as our quality time. This is growing our relationship to a deeper level.
  • Raising my vibration –I feel energised with a higher vibration after every yoga session. This has coincided with wonderful things happening in my business.

Jumping into discomfort

Posted by Phil P

No doubt we’ve all heard the phrase ‘stepping out of our comfort zone.’ I never liked that much – because it’s never easy to step away from something that I enjoy.  For a lot of people, including me,  their “stepping out” is like when we put the tip of our toe in the discomfort pool to test the temperature.

In all great pursuits, there will be some resistance

In all great pursuits, there will be some resistance

But if I’m serious about changing my life, I’m going to have to jump way out into that pool. I’m going to have to do more than just step out of my comfort zone. I’m going to have to step into – and I mean ALL the way into – my discomfort zone.

We are where we are in life right now because of the habitual decisions we have made.  If I’m going to grow as a person, though, I’m going to have to press myself to do things that I am not able to do right now.

I’m going to have to discipline myself to do the things I haven’t been capable of – or haven’t been willing to do. I’m going to have to look forward to living in that discomfort zone until I’m comfortable with it.

We don’t change our life by stepping out of our comfort zone. We do it by conquering our discomfort zones. We choose to jump in, take the pain, and ride it out … until our discomfort zone isn’t so bad anymore. In fact, until we thrive in it. Then we look for the next discomfort zone and we do it again.

When it comes to changing our life, it’s not just about positive thinking and a good attitude. We’ve got to walk into the areas of life we’ve been avoiding and stake our claim … or else we’re going to be stuck where we are for the rest of our life.

Have you noticed everything that is old is new again?

Posted by Sylvia H

You probably have, and ideas and ideals from the past have re surfaced again. Re invented, re envisioned, renewed and re-imagined.

So let’s take this theory and apply it to ourselves.I AM
Today’s “new” idea is personal development. When in fact personal development has been around since time began. Humans strive to be better. We want to know more, do more, be more and have more. Some of us achieve and succeed and some of seem to just settle. But what makes us want more? Ask yourself.

For me it seems the two core reasons, “thoughts & feelings”. We think and feel.

These are a millions of thoughts and feelings and they push us and pull at us and change our perceptions every day in every situation possible. Most of them are subconscious.

But what does this really mean and what has it got to do with personal development? Good question.

For me and I can only speak for myself. Thoughts and Feelings change me.
For many years my thoughts and feelings have lead me down many paths that have brought me here to where I am today.
I am grateful this this and I have experienced many things, some things most people will never experience in their entire lives.

So about 2 years ago I had a major life changing event happen and it changed me forever. However I did not want to continue living with the thoughts and feeling that I felt every minute of every day. It didn’t feel right and it wasn’t me!

What did I do? I embarked on a journey to change my thoughts and feelings and to get back to being me again.

I had always had an interest in personal development and thought this might be an avenue for me. I sort out practitioners, read books, investigated and challenged myself to look for evidence of how this can work for me. It wasn’t long before I found or as I would put it “BFE” found me.

I devoured it, immersed myself in it. Confronted my thoughts and feelings and found out about my core beliefs and how they channel thoughts, feelings and energy into my life. Both for good and for bad.

I am resolving and still challenging myself everyday. But has “BFE” worked. yes, absolutely YES! Why? Because I want to be better, better than I have ever been. For myself, my family and for my future. To live each day and “see” every opportunity that life has to offer. I believe in myself, I am worth it and with doubt my family is worth it. I deserve and they deserve to have the very best of me.

For me it is going to a life long journey, a path, an avenue, a vehicle to get to to where I want to be in life. A never ending cycle of reinventing, re-envisioning, renewing and re-imagining. myself in every way. Why? Because every time I achieve and succeed there is always more I can do. I am happy, I am fulfilled, I am me.

Be all that you can be, realize your true self and be more.

Life is not a destination it is a journey.

How Polaris Global Has Helped Me To Feel Successful Everyday

Posted by Alex F
Being in business for yourself is an incredible feeling! If you’re in business for yourself you might be thinking “yeah, right!” And I completely understand where you’re coming from. Having been in jobs before, owned a traditional business and now in my Polaris Global business I know there are always challenges that come up.Alex Ford Acevedo
Through Beyond Freedom Evolution and the training offered in Polaris Global I’ve come to realise that, no matter what situations or circumstances come up, you can continue to feel amazing and successful.
Let me reveal a success secret to you: Success only builds on success. Now let me ask you two questions. If you came across ten challenges today do you think at the end of the day you’d feel more empowered or less empowered? Less empowered, right? And if you feel less empowered do you think you’ll be more motivated or less motivated to do work tomorrow?  Less motivated of course!
So what steps can you take to feel amazing no matter what? The answer is to constantly feel successful because if you feel successful you’ll me motivated to continue no matter what comes your way.
The secret to continually feeling successful is to Count Your Wins. What’s the first win you had this morning? If you’re like most people you probably think you haven’t had any wins or you’ve chosen some significant win. The truth is that the very first win you had was to open your eyes as you woke up this morning. Wouldn’t you count that as a win? I mean, waking up is a HUGE win compared to not ever waking up again!
You see, your wins don’t have to be significant to be counted. You can even count running water as a win. Did you know that the majority of the world doesn’t have running water to brush their teeth or have a shower with clean water? I think you get the idea now.
Now for all Polaris associates, sometimes I also have days where prospects don’t pick up their phones and I don’t hit my plan. In this case, I could easily focus on the negative side of it – or I could count all my wins and feel great about something. Here’s what my wins list looks like so far today:
Posted new blog on my website – How To Win At Life Part I
Syndicated Blogs x2
Alchemy Call live

I wrote this article for the Polaris Global blog
Listened to Happy by Pharrell Williams on repeat like 10 times haha – Seriously!
Left Message 10
Calling Me Back 4
Disqualified 2
My list will continue getting bigger as the day goes by but I can tell you that before I go to bed I will re-read this list and I will feel SUPER SUCCESSFUL and ready for more success tomorrow. Also, any challenges that arose today, I won’t even remember they happened when I look at this list… so I’ll be falling asleep feeling like a success. Cool huh!
Also, as you can see I didn’t get many people onto the business presentation. But you know what… I don’t care! What’s important is that I left heaps of messages, which means I’ve put out into the universe the potential of having 10 people call me back. And you know what else, 2 people have already called me back! Yes, I feel very successful right now 🙂
Finally, I’d love to hear your thoughts and also for you to share your wins list for today. Post it in the comments section below!

Polaris essentials for success

Posted by Paul M

I have just come off the Friday Polaris Global call with Rachel K and Adam B and felt soooo inspired I had to put pen-to-paper (OK, finger-to-key), immediately! paul m

I also recall an earlier call that Adam was on, when the “boys” stood up to be counted – so to speak! So to hear further success oozing out of every call just continues to keep me highly motivated.

But while it is success that motivates, and I wish to congratulate all the leaders that are so open about sharing their monetary results; it’s so much more than that. I want to thank those same leaders for sharing the knowledge of how they got there. I want to thank those same leaders for sharing the steps they are taking to build their businesses and I am so grateful to those same leaders for sharing their passion.

Of the 5 Points that were discussed on the call, being:

  • Fall in Love with the Product
  • Fall in Love with the Company
  • Fall in Love with the Industry
  • Fall in Love with Marketing
  • Have BIG Dreams;

I think it was Sandy who came out after the call and spoke about her prospect that asked “Why Polaris?” to which she replied 1) The Product, 2) The Community, 3) The Business Model.

The fact that she came up with the same top three is no surprise. The key that she discussed with this prospect was that it was her own genuine response said with deep feeling – in other words she told of her “passion”.

Look at the 5 Points again. PASSION – oozes out of all of those… It can be contagious!

Let me tell you a little story about what happened at my youngest son’s school this week. The school has just had a visit from Claire E who is passionate (!) about teaching her ROC Teen program she has developed for kids. ROC stands for Resiliency, Optimism and Confidence.

After she completes the program at each school she goes to, she gives a presentation to the parents of those kids to tell them about what it is and how it went. She only works the children in their final year of junior school as they are the ones about to face the challenges of moving to senior school, and the challenges that come with the physical and hormonal developmental changes that start to happen to kids of that age.

One of the keys that ROC teaches is for the kids to keep their mind-set “above the line” in a positive space and not let negative thoughts, words or actions, which are “below the line” happen, as these attract more of the same and lead to a rapid spiral downwards. Claire teaches so much in common with the Beyond Freedom Evolution product!

Throughout her presentation to the parents, Claire mentioned little specific (positive) highlights that came up with her and various individual kids – and that was really powerful, as more than a few proud parents got a little choked-up hearing some of the beautiful things their kids learned and said. I did too. As our son Gregory is Head Boy, Claire spoke about something that Gregory did and how impressed she was with the leadership at the school and that all of the children had shown.

Claire went on to say that having travelled all of Western Australia, working in Sydney and running this program in many, many schools for the last seven years, she singled out our little junior school as being one that had impressed her most.

So here is my final conclusion: Passion is inspiring and is indeed Contagious!

If our awesome Polaris Global Community can have an impact on other small communities that we come into contact with along our journey, just imagine the possibilities!

Tell us your story… with Passion!

Overcoming resistance with Polaris Global

Posted by Phil P

In all great pursuits, there will be some resistance. Polaris Global is no different.

In all great pursuits, there will be some resistance

In all great pursuits, there will be some resistance

Sometimes when we first encounter resistance, it feels insurmountable. And the more times we decide to get up after falling down, the stronger the resistance can become.

There is temptation to give it away, to put it off for another day, or another time.

Yet if we catch ourselves, and take another look, we will find that we truly can work around it, overcome it, try another approach and rise above it, even breakthrough it
entirely and reach a whole new level of success.

Sometimes that resistance is merely our own fear and self doubt.

And most of the time, fear is what arises just prior to the time our greatest desires are about to be realized.

It’s almost always uncomfortable to do something we’ve never done before. And sometimes that fear is enough to cause us to turn back, procrastinate or give up, when if we would just continue on, give a little more, go a little further, get a little uncomfortable… grow and stretch, we would triumph.
