Is Polaris Global A Scam?

Every day I receive emails from Polaris Global customers and distributors about the new and exciting results they are creating in their life. It’s always so wonderful to hear how our products are having such a wonderful effective on shaping peoples lives for the better, but every now and again one comes through from a disgruntled person.

I received one such message today. I’m not sure who the person is, as upon asking them to share with me their name so that I may be able to resolve their concerns they didn’t want to reveal who they were. Mmmm…well that gives me a lot to work with.

They simply stated that they were scammed out of alot of money, the business did not work for them and that I should be ashamed with myself for earning so much money.

I’m amazed when people say to me that they started a business and “it didn’t work for them”. You know last time I checked, a business isn’t designed to work. The owner of the business must “work within” the business in order for the business to become successful.

Imagine going to the hardware store and buying a hammer, some nails and the shell of a shed. A month later you go back to the hardware store and say to the clerk…”the hammer and nails didn’t work! My shed never got built”. The clerk would look at you like you were crazy. And guess what, the clerk would have good reason to think of you as a crazy person.

What is the difference between one person creating success within a business such as Polaris Global and another not creating a result? The one who gets the result worked within the business for a long enough period of time, the one who didn’t get the result, did not. Simple as that.

When I first started with Polaris I started out as a distributor. I was afforded the exact same opportunity as the person who sent me this message that they were scammed. I purchased the same product they would have purchased. I listened to the same training calls. I had available to me the same compensation plan, the same advertising guidelines. Yet I created unbelievable results and clearly they did not. What was the difference? Perhaps I got up a little earlier than they. Perhaps I went through the product a few more times than they. Perhaps I applied myself a little more than they. One thing I know for certain, I took more responsibility than they were prepared to take.

I ran another business prior to starting here at Polaris within the network marketing industry. I ran that business for over 4 years and while I achieved a certain level of success, it was never to the level that I desired. When I left that company the last thing I did was blame “the business” for my lack of results. The last thing I did was blame the person who introduced me to the business. I didn’t blame the owner of the company for my lack of results. How could I? It was working for so many other people. That business didn’t work for me, because I didn’t work the business the way it was designed to be worked for a long enough period of time. I too would be a crazy person if I were to blame “the business” for not working for me.

The reason that I’ve gone on and created incredible results this time round was because I was prepared to take personal responsibility for my results. The good, the bad and the ugly.

Have you ever dealt with somebody who was just convinced that you wronged them in same way?

How Long Will It Take Me To Make Money At Polaris Global?

Napoleon Hill

Napoleon Hill

Thoughts from Rachel Oliver & Shane Krider, Polaris Global

This is the question that I asked of my enroller (the person who introduced me to the business) when I first got started here. How long will it take me to make money with Polaris Global?
His answer…..”as long as you think it will”.

Okay, got it. As long as I think it will. If I really believe that it’s possible to make $20,000 my first month in business, then this is exactly what I have the opportunity to create. If I doubt that this is possible, well, we all know what the result will be. The result will reflect what I innately believe to be possible.

Most of us would be familiar with Napoleon Hills statement of “whatever the mind can conceive and believe, one can achieve”. I believe in this statement to the core. I believe that as human beings we have the unique opportunity to create an experience we wish to create. I also believe that most of us sell ourselves short. Most of us are victims to our own limited thinking – myself included.

Let us have a look at Napoleon’s statement again – “WHATEVER the mind can conceive and believe, one can achieve.” That being said – we have the ability to create WHATEVER we choose.

If this is true, as I know it to be, why do we find ourselves settling for less?

What’s all the Buzz About at Polaris Global?

I’m excited to say that our BuzzZing Social Media Training has now been launched to the public. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the success of our BuzzZing training. It’s so great to see a project come together and with such tremendous results.

Since officially launching our new BuzzZing website just a couple of days ago I have been inundated with messages of gratitude from those who have been introduced to BuzzZing over the weekend. People sharing with me that they have received tremendous value from the BuzzZing training and even an instant boost in inquiry.

I received this message from Fraser who owns Simply Healthy out of the UK;
“since i have watched your buzzing i have generated three leads today and 1 sale to Switzerland”

These messages are coming from business owners outside of our Polaris community. (of course Polaris distributors have had the info for a while and getting great results). It’s very exciting for me to hear of others also experiencing a boost in their inquiry and sales.

Incidently, it’s been only 90 days since BuzzZing was launched to Polaris Distributors and our sales have increased by a whopping 58%!! Congratulations to everyone for taking action on the teachings. The great news is….we are just getting started!!!

Why Are So Many Having Success At Polaris Global?

Shawn Achor

Shawn Achor

I was reflecting this morning about the tremendous success so many have experienced as a result of starting their business with Polaris Global. A huge contributing factor is that of being connected to the community of people within the company. To be surrounded by successful people has a direct impact on the results a person will experience.

I was privileged to be sitting in the audience at one of our events with Shawn Achor presenting on stage. Shawn is the winner of over a dozen distinguished teaching awards at Harvard University, where he delivered lectures on positive psychology in the most popular class at Harvard.

Shawn shared with the audience that day that 25% of a persons success is attributed directly to their circle of influence. 25%!! So one could have all the skill level, all of the intelligence, the determination in the world in which to create results, however if they are associating with a negative group of people, they will fall short by at least 25%.

After thinking about this it sounded very logical. I’d just never been given a percentage as to how much of an impact ones direct circle impacts on ones results. Something that I have learnt to do over the years as an entrepreneur is to surround myself with those who are on purpose and of like mind. Winners! This job has been made even easier since getting started as a distributor with Polaris. I am blessed that every day I’m able to tap into our training calls and connect with winners. Thank you for contributing to 25% of my success!

Share with me your experience in regards to the community at Polaris

4 Tips To Success In Network Marketing

I’m sitting in a cafe having my morning coffee reflecting on what it takes to succeed in a business such as Polaris Global. A few things come to mind.

1. Falling in love with the product. This is imperative to your success no matter which company you align yourself with. People don’t care what you say, they will be attracted and join you based on HOW YOU FEEL about what you say. The way I fell in love with Beyond Freedom Evolution was I immersed myself into the product, experienced personal wins that I was then passionate for others to experience.

2. Falling in love with the industry – Network Marketing. I remember when I first started in the industry 8 years ago. Initially I was a little embarrassed to share what I was doing with friends and family for fear of judgement. I then embarked on learning as much as I could about the industry and discovered it to be the most tremendous platform for growth, development & financial success. Where else could a high school drop out apply themselves for a few years and become a self made millionaire? A love affair with the industry began!

3. They take consistent action. Every success story in the industry has come as a result of an individual taking consistent action. Here at Polaris we teach 3, 5, 10. Presenting the opportunity to 3, 5 or 10 people per day. Its as simple as picking the activity plan that fits with your schedule, part time or full time, and then sticking with it.

4. They are patient. The worst thing that a new marketer can do is come in with the mind set of – “I’m going to give it a go for 3 months and see what happens”. This attitude would have one setting themselves up for failure before they even begin. If this had been my approach I wouldn’t be sitting here today as a success story. You see when I started here, the first four months of business produced next to nothing. So lots of activity and little result. All of a sudden, my 5 month, the business exploded! What if I had of quit in month 3? All too often I see people quit just before they are about to make the turn. Just before things click with them. Things can change very quickly in this business. I went from $0 income in month 4, to $25,000 the very next month.

Finally – network marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. One must apply themselves, take responsibility for their results and give it enough time while they are learning the necessary skills to succeed. HOWEVER….my business went from ZERO to well over $1 million in profit in just 12 months. I don’t know about you…but to me…THAT’S QUICK!

Do You Have To Be Crazy To Achieve Success?

Success is a Choice

Success is a Choice

John Ilhan founded a company called Crazy John’s, one of the largest privately held mobile phone companies in Australia. The Turkish-Australian entrepreneur grew up in the working class suburb of Broadmeadows in northern Melbourne. His parents migrated to Australia when he was just five years old. Before turning 40, he was one of the few entrepreneurs to achieve success, ranked the richest young person in Australia by the BRW magazine. Tragically, in 2007, Ilhan was walking not far from his home in Brighton, Victoria when he collapsed and died from a suspected heart attack. The very same year, BRW magazine ranked Ilhan as the 126th richest man in Australia, with a net worth of $310 million.

John Ilhan had succeeded in a competitive industry and overcome the challenges of growing up in a poor migrant family to become a wealthy businessman and respected leader in his community and across Australia. Ilhan got his start in 1991 when he opened his first mobile phone store called “Mobileworld” in the Melbourne suburb of Brunswick, offering crazy deals like $1 phones while his competitors were selling the same products for $200. His unusual marketing methods influenced the name change from “Mobileworld” to “Crazy John’s.”

The young entrepreneur worked long hours and overcame numerous challenges to achieve success and become a phone retailer with more than 120 stores and 600 employees in Australia.

Although John Ilhan may have given off the aura of a happy-go-lucky businessman, behind his achievements in building up the Crazy John’s empire was a person who always knew how to close a deal. He was street smart and hungry, and had honed his talent selling cars at Ford Credit, becoming Strathfield’s top mobile phone salesman in his early 20s. All at a time when mobiles were as big as heavy bricks and cost more than $5000 – hardly today’s easily affordable fashion accessory.

A remarkable entrepreneur success story, John began Crazy John’s in the depths of the 1991 recession, when he leased a small shop in Melbourne’s cosmopolitan suburb of Brunswick. All he could afford were a few trestle tables and a stack of brochures to try and sell phones. He had to borrow money from his father just to afford the lease so to stock his store he would buy second-hand phones and pagers from ads in the Trading Post – and re-sell them well below the prices offered by competitors selling new phones. The key was to slash margins and work towards sales volume.

John was the first in Australia to introduce the $1 phone and the first to bundle accessories with a phone. He broke the rules to create a brand that was fun and irreverent – and completely revolutionised the Australian mobile telecommunications model.

Another coup was recognising Australians love for sport – a passion he happened to share– so he aligned the brand with AFL and rugby league. Starting with so little focused his mind in what the customer really wanted.
Better deals. He knew store location was everything and so was a headline grabbing deal that captured the imagination of the customer.

When he began expanding in Sydney he found a site that was a hairdressing salon, so John and his close friend Brendan Fleiter simply arranged to fly to Sydney to meet the owner, did the deal on taking over the lease on the spot and left a deposit on the owner’s EFTPOS machine as an act of good faith. Apparently, the hairdresser’s bank later contacted the owner querying who paid for a $5000 haircut!

John Ilhan was also a generous philanthropist and regularly gave to various charities. He started the “Ilhan Food Allergy Foundation” with a starting $1 million dollar donation after learning that his daughter Jaida had a severe allergy to peanuts.

That’s why Crazy John’s became Australia’s biggest independent mobile phone sellers and how John became one of the pioneers in developing Australia’s mobile phone industry. A man who arrived as a child from Turkey and was able to achieve success as an entrepreneur by building an empire, based on “being Crazy.”
