Lights, camera, action!

Polaris Global Media take action!

Polaris Global Media take action!

As they say, knowing better is doing better. Which is the reason Polaris Global created Polaris Global Media, to produce inspiring documentaries that prove the determination of the human spirit, while giving back to the charities associated with these amazing stories of accomplishment and triumph.

As Polaris Global Media gained momentum, and the news spread of these remarkable tales of heroes battling the return to everyday life, disabled athletes conquering the toughest road race in the world, and Cuban surfers confronting maritime law, attention grew. And accolades followed.

Six feature-length documentaries have been released so far, receiving international honors including Telly Awards, WorldFest’s Remi Award, a film soundtrack was shortlisted in the ‘best original song’ category at the 2011 Academy Awards, and numerous international film festival selections. I highly recommend you check out the trailers here if you haven’t already, and let us know what you think!

Polaris was inspired by these stories because they reflected the success principles demonstrated in Beyond Freedom Evolution curriculum, and reiterated the foundations of the Polaris Global Live events. This is why these films have been so successful. When you have producers who understand the fundamentals of the journey of each film subject, they are going to portray it in the right way, attract the right crew, and inspire as many people as possible.

I know we say it’s not about the awards or acknowledgement, but it’s great to see good work being recognized. It’s just awesome to be associated with a company that spreads its success philosophies through different mediums to reach the widest audience, while creating much-needed awareness and raising money for well-deserving charities.

In breaking news this week, Halfway Home has been picked up for worldwide video-on-demand distribution. Read the full story in our NewsRoom.

Nice one Polaris. Keep them rolling. Aaand ACTION!

Amy, it sure does the heart proud to partner with such an awesome company, a company that gives back in so many ways and I have really enjoyed the documentaries and am looking forward to the next installments.

Great Post Amy. I particularly like your comment about ‘it’s not about the awards’. When you put these documentaries into a context of what the people in them have overcome ….. their behaviours were not looking for an award. They were driven towards a holistic solution for themselves and others. The award winners really are the people in the film. It’s a paradigm shift when a person is able to take on the perspective that awards are a bonus but actually that their personal value framework and their vision and action towards a Productive wholesome life for others is more the Award. Pay it forwards always! 🙂

Hey Amy, you’re so right – how cool it is to learn more & be able to do more, for ourselves and for others! Combining knowledge with what we’re really passionate about – there’s no stopping us! Forever grateful for the principles that BFE has, and continues to teach me. It’s certainly been a life changer for me & I just love seeing the changes through so many others in the Beyond Freedom community too. Great place to be. ~ Kirsty xox
