Be Do Have

Posted by Chrissy G
When I first started my Personal Development journey here 7 years ago with Prosperity of Life and our Master of Destinies curriculum I was introduced to the principal  Be Do Have.
This is a description from Shane Krider on the Born to Prosper Site about the Be Do Have principal “This concept has been around for thousands of years, it’s a fundamental basic truth of life. You can try and change what you have, and you can try and change what you’re doing
but unless you change who you’re being, then none of that is going to change.”
We tend to believe we need to ‘have’ something – money, more time, love;
then we can finally ‘do’ what we really want – start a business, pursue a passion, create a relationship. This will then allow us to ‘be’ what we really want in our life – successful, fulfilled, in love.
There were a couple of points that Shane Krider shared on the Born to Prosper podcast
that really resonated with me.
1/ Being comfortable in life is like a drug so the more we stay average the more comfortable
we become with average and we begin to believe that being anything else is hard.
2/ We can be either Pro Active creating our future working through any obstacles
that present themselves but while always moving towards our goals.
OR we can play
the victim role so that means we are listening to our own excuses and playing
the blame game.
3/ Learn to listen, really listen to your own language, are you using empowering
words when speaking to others and more importantly when speaking with yourself.
I ask myself and you these 4 Questions
1/ Who are your really being?
2/ Who are you really listening too?
3/ What are you filling your mind with ( positive or negative info)
4/ Am I being a fixer or a creator
Please share the answers that came up for you when asking yourself
those 4 questions and anything else on the topic of Be Do Have.

Chrissy you have shared a powerful , yet easily overlooked concept. Who we are being in the meaning behind the famous Gandhi quote ” be the change”.
I love your questions and will use these in my journal.
The one that stands out for me today is number 2) who am I listening too – super powerful who I am allowing to influence my mind.
Wonderful post Chrissy thank you for sharing.

  2. Sue Coleman says:

Thanks for this Chrissy great words of wisdom yet again from a great leader, who is always ready to listen and give a new prospective on things that are happening. Whenever I speak with Chrissy she listens and gives advice and I always come away from our call feeling energised. Just like this blog. Feeling very positive now and has given me a nudge in the right direction when I need it today.
Thanks again Chrissy Be Do Have!

  3. Joanne G says:

Being in your comfort zone is definitely a drug! Doing the same things over and over and expecting different results does not work at all.
    Thank you for this article!

I have just listened to the Born To Prosper podcast “Empowering Relationships”
with Shane Krider, Rachel Krider and special guest Alison Wheeler for the second time.

Topics on relationships are very close to my heart as Col and I celebrated our
35 wedding anniversary in May this year (2016). We first met when I was 15
and he was 18 so we have been working on this relationship for nearly 40 years.
Wow that time has flown by and we believe we are only half way there.

Shane,Rachel and Alison explored what it takes to have 2 people in relationship
creating amazing results together but still keeping their individuality.

Here are the keys points that resonated with me from the podcast

1/ Set goals together but also give each other space to achieve
    individual goal

2/ Communication is key and this means One partner talks while the
other listens. ( really listens). This does not mean talk AT each other.

3/ Don’t be a stopper to each other so this means when one partner
shares that they would like to do something make sure you don’t
have the knee jerk reaction of NO which we all seems to do.
Communicate on the how their goal could be accomplished.

4/ Remember you are not in competition with your partner but you
are looking for a win&win synergy
5/ If you are having some differences with your partner don’t wait
until you are at breaking point before talking with them about it
6/ If you are growing ( progressing) at a different rate than
your partner don’t slow down and wait for them to catch up.
Let them work through their stinking thinking and allow them
to feel empowered when they catch you up.
7/ If you are a leader then you have to be ok with your partner going through
some discomfort as they are experiencing new things.

I really took a lot out of this Born to Prosper podcast so thank you again
to Shane Krider, Rachel Krider and Alison Wheeler for sharing your wisdom.

As mentioned this topic is very special to me so I would love to hear your
    thoughts on the podcast.

You can catch the recording of this podcast right here.

Well said Chrissy! We’ve been in contact for quite awhile now. I have yet to make a commitment to this business. My inner voice says” what the bleep are you waiting for?” The paradigm shift required may be my largest obstacle I need to overcome. I am being a fearful procrastinator. I am listening to a conflicted self. Positive thoughts coupled with negative actions or even worse no action. Currently I am not being a fixer or creator. Stuck in the neutral status quo. Thank you Chrissy for staying in touch in a very professional manner. Cheers

  6. Kym K says:

    Another great post Chrissy,
I love all of the Pod Cast, this one particularly resonated with me also. Firstly congratulations to you and Col for co-creating such a beautiful and solid relationship.
When it comes to relationships I believe we can write our own rules, we are entrepreneurs after all.
I love all the points you have highlighted and see places where I can improve. Its awesome to keep adding tools to our kit that assist us to live more and more empowered and on purpose.

  7. chrissy greig says:

Hi Kym…Thanks for your input and insight into my post. We are so lucky to have such powerful influencers in our prosperity of life community that gives us wonderful choices on what or who to listen too.

  8. chrissy greig says:

Hi Sue…Thank you for your comments and kind words. I know I attract great leaders into my Prosperity of Life team because of my Be Do Have attitude and you and my team are the proof.

  9. chrissy greig says:

Hi Joanne…Thank you for contributing to my blog article and I know you are stepping out of your comfort zone right now to begin a new journey here with Prosperity of Life. It has taken you several years to make the decision however in that time you have been enjoying listening to Shane Krider on our Born to Prosper Podcast. I look forward to being part of your new exciting journey here with Prosperity of Life .

  10. chrissy greig says:

Hi James..Thanks for your comments. When you mention about being around for awhile I thought I would take a look at when we first spoke about the Prosperity of Life business opportunity and it was back in March 2013.
I appreciate your honesty in your comments and you can work through all those excuses you mentioned but it will take commitment. I did start my Prosperity of Life business part time along side my full time role in retail management with the intention of stepping away from that role as soon as I could. Which of course I did and the rest is history. Be Do Have

  11. Ann-Maree M says:

Chrissy I love what you wrote about Be -Do-Have and have popped the four questions into my notebook. Each time I hear these three words I gain more clarity on the depths of the meaning and importance to our outcomes.

As for Empowering Relationships, what a powerful call with Shane, Allison and Rach, with their fearless demonstration of authentic communication.
And congratulations to you and Col on 35 years – ”awesome”

  12. Sue C says:

    Hi Chrissy

I have listened to the podcast about Empowering Relationships and found that it struck home as I do a few things I know I shouldn’t do. Although Peter and I do not work together we both take an interest in each other’s work which is great but I do tend to be a bit judgemental sometimes and it is one of the things I am working on.
We have been together 29 years so we must be doing something right. Great Blog again Chrissy thanks.

  13. chrissy greig says:

Thank you Ann-Marie WOW I love your term fearless demonstration of authentic communication. I’m sitting here saying it over and over again to myself. I think it describes how Shane Krider communicates to us through our Born to Prosper podcasts and our Master of Destines curriculum .

  14. chrissy greig says:

Hi Sue…Well done on listening to the Born to Prosper podcast. I think what Shane Krider, Rachel Krider and Alison Wheeler shared will hit home for many people because being in a relationship is sharing the best and worst of each other but being open to listen and improve along the journey. Congratulations on 29 years together that is fantastic.

  15. Rachael & Myra says:

    Hi Chrissy

As we are new to this we are still getting our heads around so much but you & everything discussed is simply amazing. The top 4 questions we had a bit of a laugh to ourselves cause we now are learning to become ourselves, listen to ourselves, trying to stay away from the negativity, and learning to become creators. The journey we couldn’t be happier with and just want to say thank you to you and the team. Relationships are work in progress.

  16. Brenda H says:

This is all so inspiring Chrissy, and I am happy to say I feel like flying, nothing has happened yet but it is in the wonderful pipeline all ready to be flying out.. any moment, because I have just found the answer. I can FLY…

  17. chrissy greig says:

Hi Rachael and Myra….Welcome to the Prosperity of Life community and I can imagine you both laughing because we seem to do a lot of that in our training calls together. Relationships are always a work in progress but as long as both parties are open to the progression.

  18. chrissy greig says:

Hi Brenda…Thanks for your comments and I would also like to welcome you to the Prosperity of Life community. Remember when it comes to flying all the work is done on the ground and in the take off then the flying is to be enjoyed.

  19. chrissy greig says:

Thank you Shane Krider and Rachel Krider for an amazing Born to Prosper podcast on How to Destroy Fear before it Destroys You.

Acronym for Fear…… False Expectations Appearing Real

I would loved to share my notes with you that I took while listening to this podcast.

Shane explained that FEAR puts us in to Flight or Fight mode which means when we are confronted
with a situation that we fear we find it hard to think clearly and make rational decisions.

The one technique that you can use to destroy your fear is Release and Allow.

The image that popped into my mind when I heard Release and Allow was someone doing a yoga pose.
(What was the first thing that popped into your mind?)

So now we have the technique but how do we use it in our life.
You really have to be aware and on purpose to make the change.
Somethings are just as easy to do as they are not to do.

Another way of making sure you stay on purpose is be Inside the conversation of success
which means we become the company we keep.

We are so lucky here in our Prosperity of Life business because we are surrounded with a community
of successful people that are focused on chasing (catching) their dreams.
Success really does leave clues when you are open to hearing and seeing them.

Shane Krider also shared that you have to have the attitude that life is a game and the only way
way to move on from your Fear is to let go and stop trying to control your life.

In what area of your life do you think Release and Allow is going to be your friend.

P.S. If you have not listened to this podcast catch it here

  20. Sue Coleman says:

    Hi Chrissy
What I got from this podcast is they way we teach our children. People are constantly drumming fear into them, although I do understand that they have to be educated on how to look after themselves. When we first arrived in Australia some 14 years ago my daughter was 12 years old and I found her friends parents were so fearful of what “might happen” they would not let their children do anything, I call these helicopter parents, always hovering. We must teach them from an early age to just let things go. Let the fear go about trying new things. I found myself as I grew older that I just couldn’t control everything, so don’t worry about it. I remember when I was on a parachute course and the instructor was showing us how to use our reserve parachute should the main one not open. Someone asked the question “what happens if the reserve chute fails” the instructor looked at him and simply said “you die”. We all laughed of course but he was speaking the truth. You either overthink it and don’t go on to experience something new or you let go of your fear and enjoy it! Needless to say I went onto complete 8 parachute jumps and I didn’t need my reserve chute once! So to answer your question Chrissy “In what area of your life do you think Release and Allow is going to be your friend.”. I will get back to you on that one. My attitude now is “grab the bull by the horns” and don’t let fear stand in your way.

  21. Brenda J H says:

There is a science of getting rich, and it is an exact science, like algebra or arithmetic, There are certain laws, which govern the process of acquiring riches: once these laws are learned and obeyed, you will get rich with mathematical certainty. The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way: those who do things in a certain way, get rich, while those who do not do things in a certain way, no matter how hard they work or how able they are, remain poor. Be a creator and BE DO HAVE.
Thank you for all your encouragement Chrissy, I enjoy every moment of this business, It resonates with my heart all the way. I derive a pleasure in helping others..

  22. Joanne says:

Fear is crippling. It tries to undermine everything we do and think. With Prosperity Of Life and personal development we can overcome these obstacles. Thank you for the blog.

  23. Gerry says:

I think that this concept applies to having a good marriage or partnership in that whilst you need to work at it constantly you cant control your partners actions and by releasing the urge to do so you will allow your relationship to grow.

  24. Ash says:

I really love these podcast, because every time i listen to one i grow stronger. This one of destroying fear has made me feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and im able to breath easier and see clearer. To stop worrying about things i cant control..
So very grateful to be part of this community of amazing people.

  25. chrissy greig says:

Thanks for your comment Gerry and yes I agree with your thoughts and on the Born to Prosper Podcast recently Shane Krider shared the term Release and Allow which I have been testing out and finding it very rewarding.

  26. chrissy greig says:

Hi Joanne…Thanks for stopping by and adding your thoughts to my blog. I know that you have overcome your FEAR recently to move away from your job and get started here as a Prosperity of Life distributor so you certainly had to Release and Allow. Looking forward to being part of your success journey here

  27. chrissy greig says:

Hi Brenda…I love your comments and you are so right that there is a formula to creating success. The Be Do Have principal is a very powerful concept and it is the one that has worked for me.

  28. chrissy greig says:

Hi Sue. I loved reading your share and wow jumping out of a plane well done to you. We need to teach our children to be thinkers not followers so to become entrepreneurs. I know our Master of Destines program would be so powerful if it could be introduced into the school curriculum. We as prosperity of life distributors have the tools to change our lives so for that I’m very grateful.

  29. chrissy greig says:

Thank you Ash for adding your thoughts on our Born to Prosper Podcast. Shane Krider shared such a simple solution Release and Allow and get on with doing the best we can and release the feeling of having to control everything. Looking forward to the next Born to Prosper podcast about how to achieve balance as an entrepreneur.

Recently we just enjoyed a road trip from Tamworth to The Gold Coast so we could drop my mum off at a resort for a 4 week holiday. My prosperity of life business didn’t miss a beat because I could sit beside the pool and speak to people around the world that are looking for what we offer at Prosperity of Life… A portable and profitable business that allows us to enjoy a lifestyle.

When I made the decision 7 years ago to move forward with this business model I could not even send an email so looking back I’m not sure how I thought I could create success in an online business. ( lucky I don’t over think things) I remember sitting in front of my computer some days in tears feeling really overwhelmed and thinking what am I doing. Like any journey it starts with the first step and over the last 7 years I have just taken lots of steps forwards always moving towards my goals. What that meant was following our simple system, our training and being a product of our Personal Development products.

What comes to mind is….. It may not have been easy but it sure is worth it.

Col (best husband ever ) has joined me in our Prosperity of Life business recently which means we can travel anytime or anywhere we want with no time constrictions. However we do absolutely love being home on our 400 acre lifestyle block with our…. 7 horses, 9 dogs, 2 cats, 8 Pigeons ,1 ferret , 23 chickens, 8 goats, 3 turkeys, 2 geese and a 54 year old turtle called Sam…. (oh and my Mum who is 85 going on 50.). Our Son and his family also have a home on the property so they are available to look after the animals when we decide it is time for some travel.

NOW as the Happy Baby Boomers that is what we came here for Time and Money FREEDOM.

What are you looking to achieve?

  31. Liz says:

As a very new member of the Prosperity of Life community and still feeling my way, what I have very quickly realised in the very short time I’ve been involved is that anything is possible when you put your mind to it. I had always been a “what if?” kind of person and as a consequence never achieved the things I really wanted. Now with self belief, and a fantastic amount of support from the team at POL, I am on the road to achieving time and money freedom and PEACE of MIND

  32. Brenda J H says:

Oh Chrissy I enjoyed reading about your lifestyle, all the wonderful portability that this lifestyle offers and all those amazing animals I love it all.. what a beautiful life and yes it is worth it all the way.
What would I like to achieve,?I would like to have a five bedroom home with a large patio to entertain and to enjoy.
To have a poodle dog to have walks with every day
To have a beautiful Bentley continental car and more than $500,OOO in the
I want to leave a legacy for my children

  33. Sue C says:

    Hi Chrissy
Great Blog for those starting out, it gives us all hope that we can be as successful as you and Colin.
I am looking to achieve financial and time freedom. I have really just started on my journey and love the company as the leaders give so much of their time to train and update us newbies.

Somedays are better than others but if I am having a bad thinking day I just go back to my personal development and get into a better mind set. It really does work.

Your help and inspiration really motivates me to do better. I know I will get there.

  34. Em and Kev says:

Awesome read! Kev and I are so super excited to get started which will be very soon YAY!!!

My north star is to Be the Best me I can be and also to inspire others through my journey.

  37. chrissy greig says:

Hi Brenda…What amazing goals you have and I love that you KNOW what they are. Next step to achieving those goals is following the 6 daily activities that we have in our Prosperity of Life business. I look forward to going with you for a drive in your Bentley

  38. chrissy greig says:

Hi Liz…Thank you so much for your comment on my blog and welcome to the Prosperity of Life community. Yes the negative “What If” words can be stuck in our heads on repeat and we have to do more work on ourselves to change it to the positive “What is possible”. I look forward to being part of your journey here.

  39. greig s says:

o for awsm chrissy i agree wat evryone has said too , great inspiration to me nd i hpe to one day b as succesful as wel ?

  40. Ash says:

What always comes up for me is, its always about me!
Me believing in myself, me trusting myself, me taking lots of little steps which will lead to the bigger ones, me making the time for myself to do this. Its not about anyone else doing it for me, but the support from Chrissy and the rest of the gang in this community to believe in myself and see that anything is possible is awesome, and that is what excites me about this journey.

  45. chrissy greig says:

Thank you Kym and Col is enjoying being up the front with me. You are so right about our Prosperity of Life business being simple but like any business it takes hard work to be an overnight success.

  46. chrissy greig says:

Thanks Gerry for stopping by my blog and adding value. Anything worth having takes 100% commitment. Be able to inspire others is one of my North Stars which is straight from our Master of Destines curriculum.

  47. chrissy greig says:

Last week I was asked to co-host our Hot of the Press Prosperity of Life Training calls with Alison Wheeler.
Alison asked if I could share my nearly 8 year journey here as a Prosperity of Life business owner. Now I have shared my story before but we have so many new distributors that we thought it would assist them on their personal journey if I shared again.

Below is a post that I posted on the Prosperity of Life blog a couple of years ago so I thought now might be a good time to share again.

I have felt recently I really needed to share my journey since starting my Polaris
    Global business.
When I first wrote this it was not meant to be shared it was just for my eyes only but today I remembered my North Star and that is to be an inspiration to others so if sharing my story can inspire just one person to never give up then that is a great thing.
When I first started my Prosperity of Life business journey nearly 6 years ago I was in a very
    dark place Emotionally and Financially.
The reason for this emotional dark hole was we had to declare bankruptcy on a
previous business. The bankruptcy meant we lost our beautiful home ( Horse Property)
Investment properties, cars as well as our souls.
We were homeless and had no money so sold nearly everything we owed just to be able to move interstate
    on to a rental property.
We consider this move to be a fresh start.
We were allowed only 10 horses on our rental property so some very hard
decision needed to be made quickly. Many of our horses were sold but the hardest decision was
to call in the vet for our older broodmares. They needed specialized care and would never make
the long trip in the horse truck so we had to bury them and say good bye.
During those weeks I can share with you that the thought of suicide seemed to me the
easiest way out, every tree that I drove past I would think about driving into it or to just
keep driving and never get out of the car.
It was only the love for my husband and children that stopped me.
No longer being self employed I need to get a job so the quickest job to get was
filling shelves in a supermarket. We lived 30 mins from the nearest town so I would
    leave home at 4am.
I also understood that this job was just a means to put food on the table short term however
long term I dreamed of owning my own property again and assisting my family live a more
    comfortable life.
I was searching the paper one day to see if there were any other ways I could make more
money. I answered a small advertisement in my local newspaper about starting a online
business from home. I went through the business presentation and could see the potential
of the compensation plan. I was so excited by the return on investment and the lack of risk
involved, I decided to get started straight away.
The first hurdle was that I had no money but I had a vision for my family and NOTHING
was going to stop me from achieving it.
I did whatever I could do to get my starting money ( begged and borrowed and considering
stealing ) this of course included the Master of Destines curriculum.
I had no idea what personal development was all I could see was the financial side.
This is where the magic happens, my life started to change as soon as I became
student of our Beyond Freedom Evolution I learned to work through my past
mistakes and plan for my future. As Prosperity of Life distributors we dial into daily
conference calls and I can tell you that some days I could not even listen to them
because everyone was so happy and how dare they be happy when I’m not.
Over the last 6 years I have experienced many ups and downs but the ups are winning
by far. Being a Prosperity of Life distributor I have access to some of the best business
training available, a community of like minded entrepreneurs that I can call my friends
and that are always there for me. An award winning curriculum that is my life coach.
No it was not always easy but was it worth it ” Absolutely”
Part of any personal development is learning to feel gratitude for what we have.
When I first started my gratitude list 6 years ago the only thing I wrote on my list
is that so far I was still alive.
Now thanks to Prosperity of Life I have so much to be Thankful for.
Just to list a few… Cruised the Mediterranean and visited Italy,Greece and Turkey.
In the next few weeks I fly over to Denver, Colorado for 3 weeks.
We have just bought our own 320 Acre property and 2 Investment Properties.
I earn in excess of 6 figures in 6 months and in a 2 week period earned just
under $50,000. I’m happy, healthy in body and mind and I get to spend more time
    with my family.
I also now have the funds to help many charities that are close to my heart.
This story was not meant to influence you but to inspire you to never give up
on your dreams no matter what .

What dreams do you have that you will never give up on?

  48. Cathy W says:

Thanks for sharing Chrissy, am loving your blog.

  49. Brenda J H says:

Hi Chrissy, You know how I found the event so exciting in April 2016, I joined and I had not even seen

the presentation. I never knew anything about this business to start with, all I knew was this is what I want to do and enjoy it at the same time, and I do enjoy it. I have built up a great skillset and I operate at a higher frequency.
I saw all these happy and excited people and it is so contagious. I love it.
Man is a growth by law, and not a creation by artifice, and cause and effect are as absolute and undeviating in the hidden realm of thought as in the world of visible and material things. A noble and God-like character is not a thing of favour or chance, but is the natural result of continued effort in right thinking, the effect of long-cherished association with God-.like thoughts. An ignoble and bestial character, by the same process, is the result of the continued harboring of groveling thoughts.
Man is made or unmade by himself. In the armory of thoughts he forges the weapons by which he destroys himself.
He also fashions the tools with which he builds for himself heavenly mansions of joy and strength and peace.
By the right choice and true application of thought, man ascends in the divine perfection.
Of all the beautiful truths pertaining to the soul which have been restored and brought to light in this age, none is more gladdening or fruitful of design promise and confidence than this-that man is the master of thought, the molder of character, and the maker and shaper of condition, environment, and destiny.
“As a man thinketh” by James Allen

Chrissy an authentic share which shows just how far you have come along this journey. When your past has lots of emotional charge around it, there are certainly lots of work to be done and thankfully we have Master of Destinies and a community of amazingly supportive individuals. I am personally very glad you grew through your adversity as you have been a tower of strength for me on my journey. I think it’s time to celebrate.

Hi Brenda…Thank you for such a powerful share and the book “As a man thinketh” by James Allen was one of the first books I read at the start of my personal development journey.

Hi Kym…I know you and I walk side by side on this journey with our Prosperity of Life business and you have been a great help to me on my journey through our Master of Destines curriculum.

I have been enjoying the Born to Prosper podcast ” How to have Rock Solid Confidence No Matter What” in this podcast Rachel Krider interviews Shane Krider about his entrepreneurial journey. The secret sauce from Shane is to have BIG thoughts + BIG Ideas + BIG actions = BIG results.

However it is one comment by Rachel Krider that I would like to expand on today.
Rachel made the comment that we should reconsider the old question that we ask our children ” What do you want to be when you grow up and replace it with ‘Who do you want to be when you grow up”. I found myself pondering on this and did some research to see what others thought on the subject. For me the first thing that I thought about was our BE DO HAVE principal from our Mastery of Destines curriculum.
Here are some interesting points I found with my research.

It all seems harmless enough – so, what’s the big deal? Well, consider this: What messages might our kids receive if we asked other questions instead of this one? What if we asked, “What types of things do you love to do?” Or, “What interests you? What do you like to learn about?” Imagine how hearing these questions, instead of the standard, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” could change the focus. Now, the emphasis is on passion, on curiosity, on following your dreams….

So I have found this topic very interesting and I will be very aware when speaking with children in the future.

I remember a parent teacher meeting when our son Toby was in grade 3 ( 8 years old) we were told he had no direction in life because he didn’t know what he want to do when he grow up.

I did laugh though when our daughter Ali asked me one day when she was very young “What can I do that earns me lots of money but I don’t have to go to school for a long time.

As always I’m looking forward to reading your comments to these couple of questions.

1/ Do you remember what you wanted to be when you grew up

2/ Or are you like me and still have no clue .

Hi Chrissy, I read your story and I thankyou for sharing, as a new comer I am finding it difficult to constantly stay focused and everyone on the recordings sound so happy and are fulfilling their goals. I want this too, depression has bogged me down for too many years, I want to be free! I am hoping that I too can turn my life around.

    Hi Chrissy

Thanks for the blog, I never really looked at it that way when asking my children what did they want to do when they grew up. But the alternative is a much better way of looking at it. I was very lucky with my daughter, when she was 7 she knew she wanted to be a Doctor. So she was sorted early on. However my Son Dean wanted to be a Firefighter but when he failed the eyesight test he was lost for a long while, He has now settled into his niche in business.
As for myself I was restricted as a “girl” it was either, hairdresser, air hostess or nurse!!! So being me I went into the Law .There is so much more to chose from today which is a great thing. As for me I haven’t grown up yet so still deciding what do do!

Hi Susan…I like that you burned your own path instead of taking the more used path. Interesting that you used the term that you haven’t grown up yet because that leads us into our next Born to Prosper Podcast .
Do you want to know the SECRET to begin spiraling upwards at any age? Making the most of the BEST years of your life?
This week’s Mind Power Free podcast.Shane and Rachel Krider are joined by Adam and Amanda (The A team) .

Chrissy, these are great questions and I often refer to this question when I am assisting clients to figure a more satisfying life. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, I became a cooking teacher for a while however it was through my journey with Personal Development that I realised my passion is for assisting others and making a difference. I get to do that on a daily basis through my Prosperity of Life business and my Alchemy Coaching Business.

As most of you know Col ( husband) has joined me full time in our Prosperity of Life business. I thought I would share a blog from him.

For about 8 years now I have supported and helped where I can, my beautiful wife Chrissy, with our Prosperity of Life home business
Our decision for me to give up full time work and step up to work alongside Chrissy with our Prosperity of Live Home Business, is turning out to be the best business decision we have ever made. I still get up early to put facebook leads into our lead manager, listen to training calls either live or recorded, do my daily personal development and now, phone people in Canada and the US, (we’re in Australia) and do the things that are written in my DMO (daily method of operation).
Coming from a workshop/tools environment I had to follow a regimented pattern. Step 1, 2. 3. 4….. etc. The business system is exactly that. Simple step 1, 2, 3, …My website GetofftheTools.info was born to give those who are needing a change away from their mundane physically hard workshop environment.
I now work alongside my best friend Chrissy, and with the expert simple guidance from Shane and Rachel Krider.
Our momentum is building and growing dramatically. We work consistently but not hard from home, and take the necessary breaks whenever we want to. We are a great team and have an efficient ever evolving system.
Best Ever Home Business has been going and growing strong since 2008 and growing naturally. Our blogs, social media presence, and just sleeves up perseverance, consistency and determination has proven to be our strong point.
Just never give up. If you give up you lose. We follow the simple system and don’t try to reinvent the wheel. Doing the simple thing well and being consistent is all we have to do.
I am so proud to be alongside my best friend working well together.
Not many people can say that.

Hi That’s great that you get to work alongside Col. My husband is “on he tools” and he is getting a bit over it, so you never know he could be joining me when I get as successful as you Chrissy..

How fantastic it must be to share a passion of work and life to the degree that you guys are now doing.
You both are a constant inspiration to myself and my partner, and the big picture is for us to be doing this business together one day. My love and excitement for this business and everything that goes with it grows on a daily basis, and knowing people like you in it only makes it stronger for me to achieve my goals..
    cheers Ash

    Hey Col,
Great post – simple and straight to the point. I love how you said ” we work consistently but not hard” that is great, its not hard work, in fact its fun and consistency sure is the key. So happy to see you in the frontline alongside Chrissy. You guys are great and I value you both in my life.

In the book of Genesis, we are told that two shall become one. That is what marriage is all about. Togetherness becomes “togetherness” when two “ME’s” submit to each other and become one ‘WE’ As you do this you become stronger closer, more efficient, more in sync less lonely and less stressed. And as an added bonus your marriage will become much more enjoyable..

  68. chrissy greig says:

Hi Susan…Thank you so much for your support of my blogs and you did create your success when you made the decision to join the prosperity of life business opportunity. Looking forward to another powerful partnership

  69. Liz says:

Hi, How fantastic to be able to work alongside your soulmate. It has to be said that my partner is not the most supportive of my business; very old fashioned and belongs to the “too good to be true” brigade. However, that’s his reality and I continue to have wins every day with my business and my own personal development. You and Col are truly inspirational and I aspire to have the same abundance in all areas of my life. Thank you

  70. chrissy greig says:

Hi Lyn..Thanks for your comments on my blog and yes I’m really enjoying having Col working with me on the front line. We do have a wonderful community of entrepreneurs that inspire us daily with their results.
