Building a business long term with Polaris Global

Long Term Business Success with Polaris

Long Term Business Success with Polaris

Posted By Lee Anne B

Are you wanting to build a business long term with Polaris Global?

Before I jump into my key points it’s important to know that to create a long term successful business in Polaris Global (and really, this goes for any business,) there are some key base foundations you need to set.

  1. You need to have on hand all the tools of your trade,
  2. Use and love your product.  Be passionate about what you do so you don’t need to sell,
  3. Have certainty and believe in yourself and your business,
  4. Don’t set yourself unrealistic timeframes eg. “I am going to give it 2 months,”
  5. Be working on yourself and your mindset – Personal Development and your Beyond Freedom Evolution!

There are so many different strategies I could share to keep your business flowing long term.  I will pick my favourite ones here and write a follow on blog from this one to give you more.

●      Consistency – you need to be consistent. Consistency builds momentum in your business. Without momentum you are continually pushing up hill. Keeping a        consistent effort going rather than stop-starting will give you better long term results with less pain.

●      Passion – You need to be passionate about what you do, not just create a fake and excited, happy face. You must really love what you do. People need to be able to hear your excitement in the way you speak and feel it without you saying anything.

●      Goals/Plans – You need to be clear on what your goals are in your business. Have a business plan. If you don’t plan, you plan to fail. So sit down and really think about what you want to achieve personally and financially in your business. And have a long term vision without unrealistic timeframes.  This is a business, it needs developing, it needs time.

●      Networking – If you aren’t networking you aren’t working. You need to build strong        alliances and business relationships. Having a strong network is the making of a strong long term business. This will include listening to Polaris Global training calls, being part of the Mastermind, Attending Polaris Global Events and heading along to any other external networking events you like.

All up you want to make sure you are pro-active in your business. It’s important not to sit waiting for the phone to ring or the next door to open. Successful business owners don’t wait for doors to open, they build them!

What are some of your tips you can share about building a long term business with Polaris Global?

  1. Lise R says:

Yes – always! I think no matter what I can always be raising my vibration. Since coming home from the event, my awareness around my vibration has shifted in the most powerful way. Now, I am aware of the triggers that lower and raise my vibration. It is so cool to have those tools at my disposal to keep me moving up and up!

  2. Lee Anne B says:

Absolutely Lise, I have so much more awareness around vibration now too.. loving the positive flow of this into my Polaris Global business and my life in general x keep up the good vibrations

  3. Jan S says:

I have lifted my vibration so much that it is an actual physical feeling. I feel that I have truly changed since the Polaris Global Influence Live event. I have become very aware of the vibrations of others too, I can see how this vibration attracts the negatives and positives into my and other people’s lives.I feel much more energetic and am feeding my vibration with daily doses of Bob Proctor material and Beyond Freedom Evolution.

  4. JodieC says:

It always amazes me how you vibrate LeeAnne. Your enthusiam is wonderful, your guidance is magical. We are all works in progress and the fact that even you still work on your self inspires me. Your decision to be concious of your vibration is one we all should strive for, whether in this wonderful Polaris Global Community or not.

  5. Lee Anne B says:

That is super exciting Jan, congrats. I feel it physically too. I think there has been alot of people whom have changed their vibration since the Polaris Global Influence Live Event

  6. Lee Anne B says:

Thanks so much Jodie, I am so glad I can be of assistance xx I can totally see your vibration has risen since starting on the Beyond Freedom Evolution journey which is wonderful x

  7. Lee Anne B says:

After coming back from the Polaris Global Influence Live event last month I have been working alot on my new pictures for my Polaris Global business.

My new pictures are bigger, clearer and so much sharper. The pictures are really the next level I want to take my Polaris Global business to. My perfect picture includes more travel (which I have already booked in place for next year.) Why? Because this makes my heart sing and totally lifts my vibration.

The picture also includes my marketing generating higher quality leads (so I get to work smarter,) it also includes some new clubs ($200k & $300k,) and it includes a whole pile of my team joining the $50k and $100k clubs. This is the picture for the next 12 months… and not to forget me becoming a millionaire 🙂

I have the pictures, so now it is about taking the most amount of action and doing the most work on myself to keep the pictures clear and to create them into reality.

I am so excited about 2015.. I feel another best year yet coming..!

What about you? What does your picture for the next 12 months look like?

  8. JodieC says:

My Polaris Global business will see me travelling more too. I will be a Rising Star award winner, a $50 000 a month member and a $100 000 a month member also. I will start our property portfolio and continue up, up, up, from there.

  9. Lee Anne B says:

Woo hoo awesome goals Jodie 🙂 You are a woman on a mission since starting Polaris global, love it

  10. Lise R says:

Soooo exciting Lee Anne – I totally see you achieving all of this and more 🙂 My goals for the next 12 months include – $50k club member, more travel, multiple six figure income, buying our dream home and starting a family. WOW. Watch out here I come!

  11. Lee Anne B says:

Very cool Lise.. exciting times ahead in your Polaris Global business and in your personal life xx I totally see you hitting those goals

  12. Lee Anne B says:

Being in Action in my Polaris Global business is the key.

When I first started in my Polaris Global business I was time poor, I didn’t have time for anything more in my life. Best plan therefore? Start a new business!

I was working 60-70 hours a week in my franchise and had a two month old and a two year old, not to mention a husband who also had a business and was renovating our house. It was very busy time.

I was also overweight, unhealthy, unfit and highly stressed. Things needed to change.

What I know now from my experience here with Polaris Global is that nothing changes, if nothing changes. The big key element for me was working on my mindset with Beyond Freedom Evolution and making the time to fit my business in.

I worked out what I was willing to give up short term to create the long term goal I had (which was to get out of my franchise.) So I worked out I was willing to get up earlier and stay up later, I was willing not to go out to dinner so much and save my money for marketing. I was going to stay in ACTION and keep moving forward step by step.

Five years on this is still the strategy, I do what I need to do, keep in ACTION and keep taking the next step as quickly as I can.

Are you in ACTION without excuse?

  13. Lise R says:

Beautiful Lee Anne and what amazing results you have achieved in every single area of your life! You always inspire me to DO MORE! xx

  14. Lee Anne B says:

Thanks Lise for the lovely comment. My whole drive is to inspire others so very grateful I have assisted you with this xx Another WIN to tick off

  15. Debbie P says:

Great LeeAnne. I dont buy my own excuses anymore – I do what I have to do in my business everyday. I work on myself self and personal development everyday. Action is THE key to Success.

  16. Berni I says:

Well done action in POLARIS GLOBAL and Beyond Freedom Evolution

    I will take more action

  17. Helen T says:

Good reminder that this is a marathon and not a sprint! The Six Daily Activities for Success help keep me on track. Since starting my business with Polaris Global it has been a huge learning curve but already I have noticed that each day I repeat an action which was previously a challenge, the easier and quicker it is getting.

  18. Lee Anne B says:

    Great Berni, great to hear

Absolutely Helen, I agree. My Polaris Global business has been a long strong, enjoyable journey

  19. Lee Anne B says:

I really enjoyed hosting the Polaris Global Team Call this past week with Simon. The topic I feel was great to send us into the last month of 2014, getting us ready to propel our Polaris Global businesses powerfully into 2015.

Here is an outline of the key points we covered on the call.

    Review and make a new plan for 2015 – Evaluate what you have done well and what you can do better;
    2015 is a fresh start – a New Opportunity for you;
    Reset your goals – Fill in Goal Setting worksheet;
    Commit to a Plan and stick to it;
    ACTION, more action;
    Keep accountable with your 6 Daily Activities for Success;
    Work a Minimum of a 3 Plan;
DEC/JAN – Less Leads, Higher Quality – Motivation increased
    BE DO HAVE …..

Do you have any other points you would like to share about creating a powerful 2015?

  20. Lise R says:

Great list Lee Anne and you and Simon did a wonderful job on the call. I love the ramp up for the new year, I find that my excitement translates into the conversations I am having with my leads as well.

  21. Lee Anne B says:

It is exciting times Lise, 2015 is where my Polaris Global business is going to explode!

  22. Berni I says:

    Important BE do have

Polaris Global and Beyond Freedom Evolution

  23. Connie V says:

I love this list Lee Anne, I have it posted on my desk as my new year’s resolution for my Polaris Global business success in 2015! One thing I added to the last phrase is…. Be DO HAVE…AND NEVER QUIT! 🙂

  24. Tracy M. says:

Apart from following the advice tips you have provided Lee Anne, for me, I need really effective time management to ensure I can balance building my new Polaris business with working fulltime and family etc and the other thing is duplicating you and following a very successful Polaris Global Business.

  25. Tristy W says:

This is a great list to look at daily to see if there is any area in which you can raise the bar. I am supper excited about 2015! 🙂

  26. Lee Anne B says:

BE DO HAVE is right Berni, it all starts with that

Great one Connie. Never Quit is a great one. That really is the only way to fail. Looking forward to an amazing 2015 in Polaris Global

  27. Lee Anne B says:

Balance is the key too Tracy, when I first started my Polaris Global business I had to be super organised to make sure I was able to fit it all in

2015 will be amazing Tristy, I am super excited too

  28. Cheryl W says:

Thanks for the motivation LeeAnne, Your vibration is contagious. and gives me motivation. Being new to the Polaris Global Business, I keep reminding myself of your words, “Stay consistent” and I am working hard to achieve my goals that I have set for myself.
    Thanks again,

  29. Lee Anne B says:

Thank you Cheryl, I find the same thing every time I listen to a Polaris Global training call or attend a live event. So much inspiration and motivation in the community

  30. Lee Anne B says:

With less than a week to Christmas Day it seems everyone is starting to wind down and is starting to get into Holiday mode. I find this happens a week or more out from holidays like Christmas and Easter etc.

You will find that your lead flow will slow down and people will be busy and maybe not answer their phones, that just comes as a given. What I do find though is I like to ramp up my marketing and ramp up what I am doing in my Polaris Global business (while still taking some time off to spend with my family).

Even though I am talking to less people I find the quality is so much higher and the conversation rate totally increases. I feel it is worth taking a little time out here and there to keep building my business over the holiday seasons.

I want to wish everyone a safe and happy holidays and looking forward to another amazing year ahead in 2015 x

  31. Lise R says:

Yes, I am the same as you Lee Anne – I find that in my Polaris Global business I am speaking to less people, but more qualified and serious people. Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family xx

  32. Lee Anne B says:

Thanks you Lise, Merry Christmas too you too and your family x

  33. Jodie C says:

Thank you LeeAnne, have a wonderful Christmas.

  34. Karen L says:

Great list Lee Anne for ramping up and going for it in 2015. I have already re done the goal setting sheet and put my goals in time order to tick off as I achieve them throughout 2015.

  35. Lee Anne B says:

Wonderful Karen, sounds like you are planning to win for 2015 in your Polaris Global business

  36. Tracy M. says:

Thinking outside the box when challenges arise……not giving up.

  37. Berni I says:

Hope your Polaris Global work over Xmas was awesome

  38. Helen T says:

I was a little concerned that it would be a difficult time to start my business late in the year, but it really has been fine and it has given me the opportunity to hone my marketing skills before the new year starts. People I have been speaking to over the last week do seem to be more serious about making a change for the new year. So pumped about 2015 for my Polaris Global business!

  39. Kym K says:

Great advise Lee Anne. This time of year makes me appreciate my Polaris Global business all the more as I have the flexibility to spend time with my family and friends and still work my business. Happy New Year to you and your family.

  40. Anthony P says:

Between the new script and the people serious about their own dreams, I am talking to higher quality prospects each day, and more so today as we go into the first day of the year! excited for 2015 and continuing to build long term. I’m really only 60 days in…and looking forward to a lifetime of success, having followed my North Star and the Polaris guidance!

  41. Lee Anne B says:

Great one Helen, there is never a bad time to start a business of your own, beginning a Polaris Global business is great all year round. Excited for 2015 too.

  42. Lee Anne B says:

Me too Kym, plenty of quality family time and time with family, plus plenty of great prospects to speak to in my Polaris Global business too x

  43. Lee Anne B says:

Love it Anthony, the new year has turned and I see everyone’s Polaris Global business really exploding in 2015

  44. Rachael T says:

Polaris Global training calls, help me a great deal. I am 4 weeks in since Joining Polaris Global. I am placing my ads and super excited to start networking and speaking with people

  45. Lee Anne B says:

From every single Polaris Global training call I attend I learn so much. Even though I have been with Polaris for over 5 years now, I feel it is so important to continue to be the student.

Shane Krider has once again outdone himself with an amazing Polaris Global Professional Marketers call.

Here are the key success points I took from the call

You create a vision in your mind
We can put our attention on what we desire to exist
You are a professional marketer when you decide to be
The universe will test you along the way
You have to believe in the vision more than what is going on around you
Everything you can see is already in the past
    The visionary creates the future
If you are not a visionary you will be left behind

The main questions Shane posed were:

How bad do you want it?
So how bad do you really want it?

  46. Leoni B says:

Excellent call, agree. I never really answered this question truthfully, but the minute I did, things changed. Watch this space!

  47. Lise R says:

What powerful questions. I have had to ask myself these questions a few times throughout my journey here with my Polaris Global business. I want it bad enough to do what it takes to create the success I know I deserve.

  48. Lee Anne B says:

I really loved the Polaris Global Professional Marketers call this week thanks to Shane Krider and Rachel Krider.

The main topic covered was ‘Do You Believe In Magic?’

Over my journey here with Polaris Global my skill in seeing the magic and creating magic has been increased ten fold. I feel like everything I do now days has an element of magic – that is for sure.

Some of the points I took from the call are these:

    I will not be denied
Some people will use the reason why they need to start as to why they can’t
If you are not willing to do what it takes, you don’t deserve the results
The true rewards in life are reserved for the risk takers
Believe in the magic and never doubt it
Life is about 1 part practical reality and 1 part magic. The magic is the most important
Have a thick skin and put the blinders on
If you are unattached the magic grows 🙂

Do you believe in magic? Have you had some magical experiences?

  49. Karen L says:

Lee Anne, this was a great Polaris Global training call. Definitely believe in the magic. Recently, I have felt as though the seas are parting and letting me through. For me it comes down to no excuses, do whatever it takes and believe in magic. What we have here with Polaris Global sure is magic!

  50. Lee Anne B says:

Wonderful Karen, Polaris Global is a magical business that is for sure.

  51. Lise R says:

I do believe in magic! Throughout my journey here with Polaris Global I have been able to see more clearly how the magic in my life works and how to really tap into it 🙂

  52. Lee Anne B says:

Great Lise, the magic is all around us here in Polaris Global that is for sure

  53. Lee Anne B says:

I am totally loving the Polaris Global training calls more and more each day.

Shane was talking about ‘not needing to be fixed’ on the Polaris Global Alchemy call this week.

We need to retrain our brains. We need to teach them the way we want them to be. Stop trying to look for what is wrong with you, you will attract the wrong things. Stop trying to fix a problem that doesn’t need to be fixed. You will be able to focus that energy on creating success instead. You don’t need to be fixed.

I am not trying to be anyone not even myself. I am just BE-ing.

With our marketing we want to create a short advert; create curiosity – period! There is no magic with marketing. You don’t need to be an expert.

The people that create the most success are those that are willing to give it a go. They are willing to fall flat on their face, they are not sacred of making a mistake. If they do, they pick themselves right back up and go for it again. They take the lesson and learn from it.

What was your take away from this Polaris Global call?

  54. Lise R says:

Yes, I loved this Polaris Global training call too! So many gold nuggets. I love that if we stop over-thinking things and just take action we are more likely to get the result. So simple, yet so true!

  55. Lee Anne B says:

Overthinking can paralyse us, I see new people do it all the time. Just take action and keep doing that. x

  56. Karen L says:

My take away from the Polaris Global training call was to keep it simple. I just placed some new ads today and used the wording from our Polaris business manager. I kept it short and sweet to create curiosity.

  57. Jan S says:

My take away from this Polaris Global training call is to keep it simple and not to over think. I can certainly see that over thinking has been my biggest enemy and stopper. I’ve concentrated too long on getting everything just right in my head before taking action. It is paralysing as Shane Krider said. My new motto is “GIVE IT A GO – WHAT THE HELL”. I have this pasted on the wall right above my computer screen as a daily reminder for when I slip back into old habits.

  58. Lee Anne B says:

Keeping it simple is the key for sure. I have been following this in my Polaris Global business x

  59. Lee Anne B says:

Absolutely Jan, I agree for sure. Your Polaris Global business will thrive once you stop overthinking

  60. Lee Anne B says:

The Polaris Global professional marketers call this week was another simple yet powerful one. I have heard the saying a few times “If you fail to plan you plan to fail” and, in the past, I have totally seen how this pans out for myself because it really is hard to hit your goals and know you are on the right path when you haven’t set any goals to begin with.

Here were my key take away points from the call.

    Create a Daily Checklist
Give it two years or more. It is a business, you need a long term vision
    Dont slow down, calm down
    Keep it simple
You want to get in the flow
You are not aiming at the destination, but aiming through it
What can I do today to move me closer to my goal? or as I say, “What else can I do?”
I am an information tour guide

What other Gold Nuggets did you take from last week’s Polaris Global Professional marketers call?

  61. Karen L says:

I enjoyed the Polaris Global professional marketers call this week. For me the gold nugget is the words Shane Krider has mentioned on a few calls, “don’t slow down, calm down.”

  62. Lise R says:

I also loved this call. Failing to plan is so common in businesses. When we don’t have an exciting goal that motivates and scares us we won’t be willing to do the little extras to make it happen. I have some super exciting goals in line this year in my Polaris Global business that freak me right out, so I know I am on the right track!

  63. Lee Anne B says:

Awesome Karen, I love that too Don’t slow down, Calm Down.

  64. Lee Anne B says:

Me too Lise, so many goals I have scare me and excite me too in my Polaris Global business this year x

  65. Leoni B says:

You are so right Lee Anne. I have seen it in my career and also in my business. More importantly for me was to put the plan on paper. For too many months I have been walking around with the “plan” in my head, thinking I was on track and doing enough to achieve my goals. Once I put pen to paper, I knew I was living a lie for the last couple of months. This call brought it back to home-base for me and keeping it simple was the key for me.

  66. Lee Anne B says:

Wonderful to hear Leoni, Pen to paper and planning for me on my flight to USA for sure

  67. Kym K says:

Lee Anne since making the decision to up my game, I have heard ideas on our training calls in a fresh light. I love the “aim through the goal” because of this I have increased my daily and long term goals. I love it.

  68. Lee Anne B says:

Great one Kym, This decision will totally increase your results in your Polaris Global business also

  69. Lee Anne B says:

Having just arrived back from the USA I am feeling even more excited about my Polaris Global business than ever before. Andrew, me and two friends went to Vegas (to renew our 10 year wedding vows), and we also went to San Francisco and Hollywood. This was an amazing time for us for so many reasons:

Between us and our friends we have 6 kids, we went kid free on this trip, that in itself was amazing. x LOL
I was able to demonstrate to myself that I can run my business and still have great results while travelling, proving how portable my Polaris Global business really is.
I realised how much time I really do waste at home shuffling paper and keeping busy as I was still able to work a 5 plan, do 3 way calls and marketing in just a few hours a day.
My business created $35,000 USD profit in the 2 weeks while I was travelling.
I made calls to leads while on tour buses, from the airport and while on a cable car. Very portable!
My lead quality and conversions where better while away; they must have picked up on the excitement.
I have had no jet lag either way on our trip, that is a HUGE WIN!

I am so grateful for the Lifestyle and Flexibility my Polaris Global business has created for me. So I pose the question to you: Where is the strangest place you have run your business from? ME: I did a 3 way call from the back of the bus driving through Thailand while on tour with leadership in Bangkok.

  70. Amy Adams says:

    Woo hooooo! Go Lee Anne!

  71. Karen L says:

Awesome Lee Anne. You are such a good demonstration as to what is possible with Polaris Global. I agree with the paper shuffling. When you have all day, it takes all day. My goal now is being laser focused and eliminate the tie wasting. Thanks for the great share and well done on your results in your Polaris Global business.

  72. Lee Anne B says:

Thanks Karen, it is amazing when we go away and realise how much time we actually waste in a day. There is always something to fill it. I really love how supportive the Polaris Global community are

  73. Kym K says:

Lee Anne congratulations on your awesome financial results and also for renewing your wedding vows.
I love how portable our business is – it took a little while to have the confidence to run my business out in public but now no problem. Having spent some time in a rural location with poor signal I spent quite a few weeks travelling into town to get signal so I ran my business form the car – I even co hosted a training call from the carpark.

  74. Lee Anne B says:

Thank you Kym, it was an amazing time. It took me a while to get the confidence to prospect in my Polaris Global business in public, but once I did, I haven’t looked back thats for sure.

  75. Alex says:

Love it Lee Anne! I’m so going to take this business to the next level in terms of portability. I’ve still been so conditioned to been stuck in a room doing work. I do remember though in Rome, after we we went on the last Mediterranean cruise, the last night before flying home I made my first M7 sale while travelling… I was in a small cafe about 100m from our hotel in Rome when I processed the payment with the lady on the phone… and that really showed me what was possible in this business – that I could make a great income while travelling and having fun!

  76. Lee Anne B says:

Love it Alex, traveling is the best time to see results in your Polaris Global business because of the excitement and energy around traveling.

  77. Lise R says:

Haha! I love it! I guess the strangest place I have ever run my Polaris Global business was also in Thailand from our poolside villa outside where my WiFi would connect!

  78. Lee Anne B says:

Sounds like your Polaris Global business has you totally living the lifestyle Lise xx Congrats

  79. Lee Anne B says:

Something I have learnt over my time here with Polaris Global and also when I was in traditional business (running my franchise) is that being unique is the key to success. It is great to look at what others are doing and ask the question of how I can make that idea work for me? But never ever copy someone else. Their business name, their advert content, advert titles. If you copy someone else and worse still post adverts in the same place as them, you are actually going to get less results not more.

If you are unique and have your own branding, your own style, your own flare, you will have heaps better results and attract people who are like you (which is exactly what you want).

What I have found over time is some things work for some people and not for others. Eg. Two people could place the exact same advert on the same site. One person may get amazing lead flow and the other person nothing. So marketing is about test and measure. It is about being unique, putting your own flare and personality into it. And keep trailing new places and new adverts and wording until you find what works for you.

Make a game out of it and have fun. Marketing should never be a chore. The more fun you have the better results you will get as marketing is also based on Vibration and Mindset as this can totally affect your lead flow too.

What lessons have you learnt since you have started marketing your Polaris Global business that you could share with others?

  80. Lise R says:

I love this post Lee Anne and it is so so true. I used to think that the more I was like all of the leaders, the most successful I would be in my Polaris Global business. That is just not the case, I love being me and I love the awesome people I am attracting into my team 🙂

  81. Lee Anne B says:

Wonderful Lise, what an awesome you, you are too. A great asset to the Polaris Global community that is for sure

  82. Kym K says:

Lee Anne – we are in the business of personal development and we work with the Laws of Attraction so it makes sense we be unique – we attract who we are being so being ourselves in our marketing is the only way to go.

  83. Karen L says:

Great blog Lee Anne. Often people ask where is the best place to advertise for their Polaris Global business and as you say in your blog, there is no best place because what works for one, doesn’t always work for someone else. It’s about figuring out for yourself what works thru trial and error and when you find things that work for you, do more of it!
