Getting Out Of My Comfort Zone With Polaris Global

I love Polaris Global

I love Polaris Global

Posted By Lee Anne B

Do you live your life inside your comfort zone?  Never taking any risks?  Never venturing outside the secure box that you live in?

I hear you asking: “Why would I want to break out of my comfort zone, I am quite happy where I am right now!”

I used to say exactly that before I came across Polaris Global, but since working through Beyond Freedom Evolution, I have learned that being out of the comfort zone can be my friend.

The reason: Because in life things never stay the same, you are either moving forward stretching for bigger better goals or you are slowly moving backwards. Even though you might feel that things are exactly the same for a while and you are feeling comfortable with them that way, one day something will happen (a little adversity) that you weren’t quite ready for or expecting and you will be knocked for a six.

I personally love to live outside my comfort zone on a regular basis as I find it helps me achieve bigger and better things, because each time I try something new, or do something I am fearful of, I move forward in life and the next thing I attempt doesn’t seem so hard. I am no longer scared all the time of the “WHAT IF:” What if it doesn’t work out, What if I fail and look silly… I prefer to take the “What If I didn’t try and this was the best opportunity to help me achieve my goals?”  I would rather fail than always wonder what could have been.

So my challenge to you: Make a change this week, whether it is stepping outside your comfort zone and doing something you were scared to do, or whether you have a business idea that you never started incase it failed – make moves to start it now. Whatever it is, give it a go, you will be successful no matter what, because you gave it a go… Successful people are really just the people who failed over and over again, until that failure turns into success.

I love that Polaris Global and Beyond Freedom Evolution have taught me to be out of my comfort zone and have fun with it.

    Lee Anne, so many take aways from another great Polaris Global Alchemy call.

    Late last year, I went back thru and relistened to every single call and picked up so many nuggets I didn’t hear the first time.

  2. Lee Anne B says:

    Great one Karen, they have all been amazing that is for sure

  3. Lise R says:

    Great points to pull out from Shane Krider’s Alchemy Call Lee Anne. I really resonate with “Don’t allow someone else’s discomfort take me away from my stand, so they don’t feel bad” – this is one that I am currently working on and proving to have some amazing wins in my self confidence as a result.

  4. Lee Anne B says:

    Thanks Lise, another great point for sure. I love Shane Kriders wisdom and the way he explains things makes it so simple to understand

  5. Helen T says:

    Shane has a great gift in the way he can articulate concepts in a clear and understandable way. Not only that, but he keeps it real. I got out of my comfort zone and introduced myself to him at the Brisbane event. So wonderful he and Rachel make time to meet us and support us.

  6. Lee Anne B says:

    I agree Helen, I love that Shane and Rach Krider are here and accessible to all of the Polaris Global community, refreshing change for sure

    Lise and Kirsty did another amazing job on the Beyond Freedom Evolution call this week. The topic for me on Self Love is one that I have struggled with alot in my life. Just like Kirsty mentioned, I too had grown up with people saying things like “You love yourself,” as if it was a bad thing. I also grew up being teased a lot in high school, to the point that I almost left school in year 10.

    I was never a slim person, nor was I fat either, I was an average size girl in school. But I feel because of my low self esteem I allowed myself to be teased and bullied consistently.

    I remember the day it all stopped. It was the day I decided enough was enough and I was not going to put up with it anymore. I made the decision, told them so and then just went and did my own thing, away from them. And it stopped, just like that. (It took me two years to get up that courage).

    So when I started working through my Beyond Freedom Evolution and it came to talking about self love, this was a very hard topic for me to work through. I will be honest I am still working on it, I am still working on my self body image too.

    In a lot of ways I absolutely put myself first and love who I am, some areas are a work in progress. Above all, I’m excited for this journey and the discoveries I will find along the way.

    Did you find Self Love a challenge?

  8. Karen L says:

    Another get blog Lee Anne and thought provoking. I have definitely had my challenges with self love coming from a family that believed “you love yourself” as being negative.

    It all starts with loving and accepting yourself before you can love and accept anyone else. I read a saying a while ago that said “The curious paradox is that once I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” So true.

    Beyond Freedom Evolution has helped me with this topic and turned loving myself from a negative to a positive.

  9. Lee Anne B says:

    Absolutely Karen, it all starts with Self Love. Beyond Freedom Evolution has been amazing at helping me work through this for sure

  10. Lise R says:

    Thanks for the shout out for the Beyond Freedom Evolution call Lee Anne. I was always encouraged to love myself but it wasn’t always an easy thing. You are beautiful inside and out Lee Anne, I am so glad you have come to the place where you are starting to see and believe that for yourself. <3

  11. Lee Anne B says:

    Thanks Lise, I am still in that process, but alot closer than I was before working through my Beyond Freedom Evolution xx Thank you x

  12. Berni I says:

    Thanks for the sharing Lee in Polaris Global and Beyond Freedom Evolution
    Admire your honesty.
    Yes self love is a tricky one for me too I gain a lot from Louise Hay’s mirror work and also affirmations.
    It helps to look inside out not outside in!

    Have you decided to take ownership of your Polaris Global business?

    It is yours. Take ownership.

    On the Professional Marketers Call this week Shane Krider and Rachel Krider talked about taking ownership of your Polaris Global business. This is something I did back when I first got started. Sometimes I don’t see people doing this until a while down the track. It really is an important step in your journey of success with your business.

    The vision you create for yourself is what your leads will see. It comes back to that “It is not what you say, it is how you feel about what you say.” If you have made the decision, you have taken ownership of your business, people you speak to will feel your certainty and passion and want to follow you.

    You don’t work for Polaris, Polaris works for you. You are the CEO of your own business with the benefits of a pre-design system to follow.

    Are you ready to take ownership and take your Polaris Global business to new heights?

  14. Lise R says:

    I love this topic Lee Anne – great post. Yes, I am in full ownership of my Polaris Global business. My business works for me because I work it 🙂

  15. Karen L says:

    Great blog Lee Anne. I have taken ownership of my Polaris Global business and now seeing the results of this. Woohoo!

  16. Lee Anne B says:

    Woo hoo awesome Karen, well done. Sounds like your Polaris Global business is booming

  17. Lee Anne B says:

    On the Polaris Global Team call last week Rachel Krider and Pauline went back to basics with the business. They took us through the basic steps someone needs to follow to get their Polaris Global business creating results.

    I always love going back to the basics because sometimes we can forget the simple things and through time we can tend to complicate them. While listening to the call it reminded me of why I started my Polaris Global business in the first place and why I love what we do here in Polaris Global. It really is super simple and anyone can create success here.

    As the call went on there was something mentioned about the compensation plan that I wasn’t sure about, so I skyped Pauline for clarification and I realised that even though I have been here with Polaris Global there was still something new I had to learn.

    What this shows is that you do not need to know everything inside out to have success with your Polaris Global business, you will learn what you need to learn along the way.

    Are you overcomplicating things or keeping it simple?

  18. Karen L says:

    It was a great call Polaris Global Team call by Pauline and Rachel and as you say Lee Anne, an excellent reminder to keep it super simple. I missed this to start with when I first joined Polaris and made everything very complicated.

    When my new team members start and they ask for any tips from my experience here with Polaris, it is always to keep it super simple and follow the training and the system because it works!

  19. Lise R says:

    Yes, it was a super Polaris Global training for sure. It really is this simple, 1-2-3!

  20. Lee Anne B says:

    I think Karen alot of people do miss how simple your Polaris Global business can be at the start, we think it needs to be more complicated. But it doesn’t simple works x

  21. Anthony P says:

    I’ve done complicated. I’m over it. I was just saying this to a supportive friend. How running my Polaris Global business doesn’t have to be as hard as I make it. And I’m ready for simple again…One of the very reasons I signed up in the first palce 🙂 great thread!

  22. Lee Anne B says:

    Thanks Anthony, great to hear. Simple is the best way to go for sure

  23. Kym K says:

    Getting back to basics is always a great way to take a fresh look at my DMO – I do have an old machine that says ” the harder I work the better I am” ( years of traditional business) reminding myself to keep it simple, stay present and when I start slogging it out – leave my office immediately and move my body.

  24. Lee Anne B says:

    Thanks for the comment Kym, I have found out over my time here with Polaris Global is the more consistent and more fun I have the better results I get

  25. Lee Anne B says:

    Shane Krider really nailed the Polaris Global Alchemy call again last week. There was so many nuggets to take from this call. I have noted my take away points below:

    You need to have Balancing opposites;
    We get beat to death with the Average Stick;
    We have an unrealistic concept of safety that is taught to us in life. The safer you try to be the more likely you are to be hurt by that exact thing;
    Mental models of reality, statistics thrown in our faces to keep us from doing anything fun;
    What does the average person make in Home Business? Nothing. In fact the average is the person never getting started;
    Creating success in life is not for slackers. You need to learn how to balance two sides;
    The more you try to protect people the more they will mess it up;
    You need to pay attention, and make sure they are paying attention, not take control;
    Personal Development is teaching people how to be their greatness;
    Act as if you can’t fail. Keep your eyes open and be proactive;
    The price of success is taking risks and following through. You have to OWN it!

    I would love to hear what you got out of the call?

  26. Karen L says:

    Lee Anne, it’s funny how the concept of not settling for average is coming into my life a lot at the moment. My biggest take away from the Polaris Global Alchemy call this week was how we operate from the model in our mind and how this creates the same results over and over and to look outside your mind. I really related to this.

  27. Lee Anne B says:

    Great one Karen, sounds like you are in the attraction mode of above average, this is a great way to be.

  28. Alex says:

    It was such a great call! My favourite part was that when people talk about statistics to tell them the statistics behind the statistics! Such good stuff

  29. Lise R says:

    Act as if you can’t fail is such a great concept to remember. We all have this fear of failure that paralyzes most people in life. Shane Krider does a brilliant job on the Polaris Global Alchemy Calls each week.

    What are you waiting for? So you just got started in your own Polaris Global business? Wonderful, definitely the right time and the right place. So what are you waiting for?

    Maybe you have never owned a business before and have been an employee all your life and are used to someone telling you what to do and how to do it? You may feel nervous and know you have a lot of things to learn before you will be successful? So what are you waiting for?

    A successful business owner does not wait for anything or anyone. They make a decision on what they want, when they want it and create the next steps NOW to make it happen. They will never get asked the question, “What are you waiting for?”

    So what are you waiting for? Have you made the decision? Have you set the time frame? Are you taking all the steps NOW toward creating success?

    YOU and only YOU can make your business successful, so go and do that!

    What extra thing can you do today to move you closer to your goals?

  31. Karen L says:

    Great blog Lee Anne. It reminds me of Shane Krider’s saying: “If it’s meant to be, it’s up to me.”

  32. Lise R says:

    I am not waiting for anything! Massive success in my Polaris Global business here I come!

    Another great Polaris Global Professional Marketers call thanks to Adam and Simon a few weeks ago.

    I loved how they covered the Employee v’s the Business owner mindset.

    There is so totally a Mindset Difference, and once that change takes place in someone, there is no stopping them. Adam is a great example of this. It has been exciting to see his journey unfold.

    Here are the key take aways I took from the call:

    Employee v’s Employer/Business Owner

    Meeting deadlines
    Be at a certain place at a certain time, 9-5
    Being told what to do

    Business Owner:
    You are totally accountable
    Work own hours
    Self motivated
    Be on purpose

    The training provided works for someone. Everything doesn’t work for everyone. Test and measure.

    You need to be coachable and trainable and have thick skin, it is not personal.

    Are you still in the Employee mindset or have you made the shift?

  34. Anthony P. says:

    This is not the time to wait! Big things are coming and even bigger things are coming that we don’t even know about yet. It’s all about positioning and massive action for me! Slow and steady? Nope. Fast and consistent is for me!

  35. Lise R says:

    This is a great topic and definitely something that I struggled with at the beginning of my Polaris Global journey. I know now that the work I do today will reward me in the future and to just keep taking the next step.

  36. Karen says:

    I’ve been self employed now for over 10 years and love it. Definitely in the business owner mindset and enjoy the flexibility that this offers. So grateful to be here with Polaris Global.
