Success Versus Failure with Polaris Global

Posted By Lee Anne B

What does Success mean for you?

For most people success is achieving all their goals and a lot of the time acquiring material assets. For you it may mean being admired and looked up to or it may mean happiness. Whatever it means for you the question is – well are you successful?

Being part of Polaris Global has ticked the boxes for me and countless other people that I am so fortunate to know.  I am grateful to be in the Polaris Global community of successful, positive and supportive people and for all the gains I have made personally and professionally from being so.

I personally feel success can be summed up by one thing:  If you feel successful then you are. It comes back to the BE DO HAVE principle. If you are being the person you want to be, you will do the things you need to do, to have the things you want to have. Once you have this achieved, then you will feel successful and will be successful.  Success really is a feeling. It is the feeling you get when you are happy, excited and loving life totally!

When you get to the place of feeling successful the universal law of attraction then attracts more success into your life and so on and so on. You have to love that feeling!

Success is not to be pursued; it is to be attracted by the person you become.” –Jim Rohn

Success Versus Failure

Success Versus Failu

Failure to a lot of people means that they don’t have the things they want in life. They don’t have the job; they don’t have the nice car, the nice house or the loving relationship.

However “failure” really is the road to success. Most people don’t see this!

As most of you would know, the people we see as great successes in life are only there because they have been through more failures in life. To succeed you are going to fail along the way, you are only successful if you pick yourself up and try again and learn from your mistakes.

So really the only failure in life is the person who fails to get back up and give it another go. Instead, they sit and complain to everyone that they tried, but it didn’t work.

Failure is not a single, cataclysmic event. You don’t fail overnight. Instead, failure is a few errors in judgment, repeated every day. –     Jim Rohn

I would love to hear your thoughts on what Success and Failure mean to you

    I still struggle with this one but it is getting easier with Beyond Freedom Evolution. This is because I sometimes collapse success & failure together, and I’m challenged to work out which one I’m afraid of most!

    But reading your blog, I asked myself “am I successful” and the answer was no. But instantly I saw I was judging this from Have, Do, Be rather than the other way around. Thanks for the reminder.

    Hi Lee, Another fab post leaving us thinking about what we classify as Success and Failure. To be honest, I don’t believe in failure. I do believe that there are set backs through learning but these to me are learning curbs and I would never classify as failure. Success is getting up in the morning with a plan. I was reading the other day that without your day planned the day before it will never start! This is actually true, if we do not have schedules, goals and plans then the day is left open to waste a lot of time and not get anything done.

    Keeping a diary is the best thing I ever did in order to attract a lot of Success in my life. This has created the following:
    * Time Success
    * Health and Nutrition Success
    * Family and Personal Time Success
    * Goal Success
    * Business Success
    And so much more.
    Thank you so much Lee Cheers Leisa T

    To me success is how you feel in relation to everything in your life.
    -You cook dinner and love how it turned out – you are successful
    -You plant a lovely garden, water and care for it and love the way it looks – you are successful
    -You do the work in your business or employee role to the best of your ability and feel good about your contribution – you are successful
    -You listen to someone in your life that has a challenge and offer suggestions that help them – you are successful

    The list goes on and on. Everyone’s definition of what creates success for them is different. For some it is creating financial success. For other’s it is being the best parent they can be. Success is different for everyone, and you know you are successful by that wonderful feeling you have inside.

    Failure is only failure if you give up. I don’t believe in failure. I have learned so much by doing things that didn’t work out the way I anticipated. But I didn’t fail, because I didn’t give up….I simply have learned new and better ways of doing things.

    Great Lee Anne, I agree that failure is the path to success. I read somewhere that there is no such thing as failure. If you have a goal and you intend to complete that goal, that is all there is. The path is just the learning along the way to get you there.

    Great information you have shared Lee Anne.
    This is a real big one for me because when I started using Beyond Freedom Evolution I saw myself as a failure because of failing spectacularly in a previous business.
    So for me to start feeling successful I had to keep note of my wins however small they were.
    I remember having a conversation with another Polaris Global distributor and her comment to me was why are you always thinking about what you have not achieved instead celebrate what you have achieved so far.
    So I’m celebrating my Success by doing the happy dance. Lets fill the floor with Happy Dancing Polarian’s

    Elizabeth – I see you as successful absolutely, in so many ways. So yes coming from that BE Do Have will make a huge difference, as Debbie says we only fail if we give up. A great thing to work on in your Beyond Freedom Evolution.

    Leisa – Great share. You are right. Failure is not an option for me. Even if something doesn’t turn out as we plan, it doesn’t mean we failed, we have learnt a way not to do it. Polaris Global has taught me this for sure.

    Debbie – I can relate to what you have said for sure. I feel the same, counting the little wins all day and knowing that I have had a successful day 🙂 puts a smile on my face

    Alison – Absolutely, no failures just need to learn a new way to do that think.

    Chrissy – Love it Chrissy, just I came here to Polaris Global also with that “self failure” hat on and soon learn that nothing in the past I had done was failing, just learning. Doing that happy dance with you x

  7. Debbie R says:

    Well done Chrissy. Fortunately the journaling section of Beyond Freedom Evolution allows us to count our wins on a daily basis. Very often, we have huge goals we are working towards, and can feel we will never get there. When you are constantly counting your wins, you can see how much progress you are making, which builds self confidence and continued commitment. The key is to use the tools we have to move forward in the direction we want to go:)

  8. Lee Anne B says:

    Absolutely Debbie, I agree. Beyond Freedom Evolution has the tools we need. I personally use the Iphone App Pocket Pad to keep a list of my daily wins. Makes it so easy for me to write them down as I go 🙂

  9. Elizabeth R says:

    Thanks Lee Anne for your kind comment above. Humans are funny, right? (I mean me…..)
    I got that it makes absolutely NO difference whether YOU think I’m successful, if everyone in Polaris Global or the world thinks I’m successful…………….unless I breakthrough whatever limiting beliefs I hold true for myself and turn that :success conversation around FOR MYSELF, then NOTHING & NO ONE can make a difference!

    Lucky I have the bestest tool in the box…..my Beyond Freedom Evolution AND the support of this awesome Polaris Global community to ensure I get that done! Quickly!

  10. Penelope D says:

    Success to me is – quote Beyond Freedom Evolution, “We can decide & conquer anything that we choose to conquer our own life”.

  11. Lee Anne B says:

    I love that quote too Penelope – so many great learnings from Beyond Freedom Evolution

    Elizabeth – Yep you are totally right x

  12. Pam B says:

    Thought provoking and such a varied and interesting line of comment. Hear! Hear! to them all. Beyond Freedom Evolution and Polaris Global are a tool for life! Thanks.

  13. Gary W says:

    Having a continuing positive mindset works for me and believing there are no failures only bumps in the road. This has only come from studying Beyond Freedom Evolution.

  14. Lee Anne B says:

    Thanks Pam and Gary, absolutely Beyond Freedom Evolution is a very powerful too, so very grateful to have it in my life

  15. Darryl M says:

    Success to me is that feeling that I get from being part of the Polaris Global community and pushing myself every day with the Beyond Freedom Evolution course. Success really is a feeling. It is the feeling you get when you are happy, excited and loving life totally!

    I have known for a long time “that the best things in life are free” or “that the best things in life are not things at all”. You need to slow down and smell the roses along the road to success and know what really is important to you.

    Failure is just those hard lessons which we must learn from, to continue on our journey to success.

    “I see only the objective, the obstacles must give way”

  16. Lee Anne B says:

    Love it Darryl, I get that feeling from being in Polaris Global too. Yep failure is a hard lesson but it is part of the journey x Without failures success doesn’t come

  17. Nola S says:

    Hi Lee Anne,
    Interesting comments.

    Absolutely Nola, the failures is what helps us build the success. x Thanks for the comment
